Sadaf Sumac spice ground - Pure sumac seasoning powder - Kosher - Persian spice - Medium Ground - 11 oz Bottle (Pack of 3)

The bottles were leaking. All the seals but one were broken. The spice smells nice, but honestly can't taste it at all unless I put tons of it into any dish. I've never tried Sumac before, so I can't comment on the quality of the spice itself. They really need to use better seals, though.

I first started using Sumac when I found some in a Persian food store in North Vancouver, many years ago. Having recently run out of a supply that lasted me many years, I tried this brand from Amazon, which seemed to combine good value and reasonable quantity.When I tasted it, I was surprised at the freshness. The bottles are all sealed under the cap, so this helps. But the Sumac was so tasty, I could eat it straight from the bottle. It has a great lemony zing to it.

it does not have the sour taste it should have
