Like ease of use and bright color.

I don't understand all the complaints about this lock. Maybe they're talking about some other model or some other manufacturer. This is the RioRand 3-digit trigger lock in blue. It's a very nice, sturdy, well made and well finished lock. It works exactly as described. Fits perfectly on my S&W 4006, nice and tight. No possibility of manipulating the trigger in any way. The number wheels are a little tight when you're changing the combination, but otherwise they turn freely. And how often are you going to change the combination? Seems like a great product for the money. (As with any gun lock, make sure it's working properly BEFORE you stick it on the gun!)

This is the better choice . I purchased the black ones with levers . Bad tumbler and learn separate lock Before resetting combination. The BLUE ONES worked great . Tumblers good and when separated and reset combination they worked great . I use at range to lock triggers on guns left at sight area , to walk down to target area . Safety ! And if left out ( child proofing important! Or idiot proof ) If a gun owner you have responsibility !

Started with the lever lock variant... they work, but the combination wheels do not turn as easily and changing the combination is more difficult... tried these... less money, wheels turn more freely, and reseting combination is easier. They lock in place well, too... have already ordered more.

Well 1 of the 3 doesn't seem to work. The first 2 locks I was able to set the combo just fine but the 3rd one the dials felt..."loose" you could call it. I followed the same steps as the prior 2 and was using the same combo but when I set it it won't unlock now. I tried rotating the dials slightly thinking maybe they hadn't set in place fully and were stuck one number off but still nothing. Won't unlock on the original 000 setting either. So not sure whats up with the dud.The 2 others seem work good. They feel stout and fit snugly on my weapons. I have the locks on a 12gauge pump and a 30-06 hunting rifle. While these won't keep the weapons from leaving the house it will keep safe from an accidental tigger pull.

I got these as I was tired of using key locks for the firearms, these work on quite a few of my items but some they wouldn't get tight enough due to the shape of the trigger guard. But that being said they did work on quiet a few of mine and easy to fit,you can change the code to what you want, then fit to the item, turn the rectangular bit that houses the dials and its locked then just change the number dials so no one knows your code. So much easier than remembering to have keys and where do you store those keys.Just one point due to the shape of these locks with the larger section that houses the lock cylinder on the back these don't fit in all safes, I have those flat biometric safes and they won't fit in them so if you do use them check to see if the fit in what ever you leave the firearm in.Highly recommend these.

I tried to fit these to my guns trigger guards, and they would only fit one of them accurately. And the digits are poorly made and slow to use. They appear to be solid in their construction, but not a great design. I returned for credit

This was a really good deal I have some name brand ones that I compared them to and these are just as good of quality if not better.

Very easy to set your own combination. I bought 2 of these for my rifles and they work great. I locked/unlocked them both several times before placing them on my rifles to make sure they would open. Had absolutely no issues. No more lost keys!

I ordered the black ones before this and the fit and finish were not acceptable - the dials were gritty and one of the locks came locked and I couldn’t even try the 1000 combinations to unlock it because one of the dials was jammed in both directions leaving one number out of the combination - I returned these ... the previous order before that of the same black locks were already of lesser quality than what you would get from the gun store but I kept them because they were usable ... these blue ones however, are night and day! They are a bit more expensive but they are smooth and work very well ... not to mention that they are also very sharp looking ...

Good price, easy to set.

bought 6.. one was dead but got replaced.would reco these .. 2 years and they work great.
