The best kosher chicken bouillon soup
This a real miracle, it’s so hard to find quality kosher bouillon. This is delicious in recipes and also just to drink by itself or with a little rice.

Very Flavorful
This RC Fine Foods Hearty Foundations Kosher Gluten-Free Chicken Base is far better than the powdered soup bases I've used. I find that there is less salt and more of a true chicken flavor. The product itself lists chicken and chicken fat as a partial list of ingredients.Follow the directions on the jar to make the amount of soup you want. Dissolve the base with a small amount of water (you have more control in a small container) and then add the remainder of the water.To give it a more homemade taste, I added the vegetables and herbs I traditionally use: parsnips, carrots, onion, dill, parsley, a few black peppercorns, and a clove of garlic. I added some chicken, too. It (the chicken) definitely wasn't enough for a flavorful soup on its own, but it enriched the ingredients that I had on hand.I was surprised at how well the soup tasted. It's worthy of four stars.Because this is a thick paste base and not a powder, keep it in the refrigerator once opened.Whether you use it for soup or, as a flavorful base for cooking, this is an excellent choice to have on hand.

Not making your own stock? Here's the solution!
Excellent quality kosher stocks/bases. I use the chicken and beef stocks in my cholent, stews, soups, etc. Really produces a tastier dish!

Way better than broth
Use this in my soups, stews, and gravies. Way more flavorful than broth. And gluten free a plus.

Great Product
I prefer using a meat base that is a paste versus a dried out cube so this product is delightful. works well in gravies, soups and other recipes that call for bullion or broth.

Not happy
Odd smell. Looks like shrunken inside. Tasted and was horrible. The date was ok but product was unusable.

I was expecting this to be more like Chicken Deluxe. I'm very happy to have a GF base to use I was just expecting the same flavor as the reg version.
