Packaging- 0! The case came shattered in two pieces but the cd was intact. Amazon promptly refunded. Had to find an old jewel case for this.This is a collection of songs recorded by Phil Collins which he grew up listening to. These aren't his original songs. But this album is a must have for Phil Collins fans. Sound quality is good. This is one of the only few Phil Collins CDs available in Amazon.in

Sound quality is abysmal. It doesn't sounds like a cd. Mp3 quality, may be cheap, but not worth buying. Giving 3 stars for condition of cd and case. Otherwise would have given 1 star only.

THE SOUND QUALITY OF THIS IS BAD

Only purchased this CD out of interest having purchased the first two deluxe editions recently released Have to say I absolutely love this extended edition and having loved Motown from my teenage years this was a trip down memory lane. Great album and Phils versions of 'Papa Was A Rolling Stone ' 'In My Lonely Room' 'Standing In The Shadow of Love' are superb. Also I was pleasantly surprised with 'Do I Love You' and 'Going Back'.. Pure treat to my ears and soul. Go on .....treat yourself. Phil Johnson

My mum asked me to order this for my dad for Christmas so he hasn’t played it yet , but he watched the show where Phil Collins made and recorded it and he just loved it ,

Unfortunately the jewel case was damaged. They did offer to take it back but as the CD is working ok and they do not have a replacement I decided to keep it. I don’t think the Jiffy bag was strong enough, it was quite a flimsy one

There's no point in saying "the original was better". This is a warm, heartfelt tribute by Phil to the music he loves, and the emotion is palpable. Not just Motown by the way. There's a Ronettes' track (Do I Love You), two Goffin / King songs that Dusty Springfield had hits with (Going Back and Some Of Your Lovin') and Curtis Mayfield's Talking About My Baby. The musicianship is outstanding.

As a Phil Collins real Fan, I love to collect all the music.It's always a pleasure to hear music from Phil.I love thic compilation too.
