Excellent Bearings
After looking at reviews of other brands from China, I decided on these. I used them to replace the 22 bearings on the bottom bracket of my circa 1977 10 speed road bike. I mic'd all the bearings an they were ALL pristine and measured 0.250 (my mic registers to 0.0005). I didn't bother checking the rest. It would have been too boring.Glad to see that you can count on PGN's quality promise.

Truly Grateful
These 1/4 inch chrome steel ball ammo is exactly what I was looking for into what I've ordered. However, I'm not so sure if it was the quantity that I've ordered. But who cares, it's the quality that I was looking for. The penetration of these things are amazing, (no pun intended 😁). They are excellent, I'm very satisfied.Thank you PGNMoe B

Good for what they're designed for
There are a lot of one-star reviews that complain about rusting in water. It's important to note that these balls are made of 52100 chrome steel which is NOT STAINLESS STEEL! This is a moderate hardness steel deisgned for water-tight, low-impact, non-thermal environments such as the axle hubs of bicycles. 52100 chrome steel will absolutely corrode when exposed to water and oxygen, so these balls are not suitable for use as paint or polish mixers. 304 stainless steel, the same stuff used to make silverware, would be the best for wet environments like paint containers, but you may have to look harder to find ball bearings made out of it. 440C stainless steel is a more common ball bearing material that is more resistant to corrosion than 52100 chrome steel but not as resistant as 304 stainless steel.

Excellent Bike Rear Hub Cup and Cone Ball Bearings
Rebuilt my bicycle rear hub with these. A standard size for most cup and cone rear hubs. 1000 miles later and still rolling smoothly. Fit and finish looked excellent. This ball bearing grade is well above what is required for a bicycle hub, but minimal price premium between the grade below.
