Perfectly white light. not that yellow nastiness. 1.5k lumens. can't beat that. My house is no longer a dungeon! I rarely add pics to reviews, but this one deserved it. I have 4 of that bad boys in that light fixture at the top. The yellow on the left side is the another room (the kitchen) with the yellow bulbs I had replaced. Do you want your house to look nice and white or yellow like somebody who doesn't brush their teeth? The extreme starburst at the top where the light bulbs are in the pic are purely there from my cheap phone camera. Those starbursts don't exist in real life, but the room is that bright 'in real life'. No photo enhancements or edits were done. The bulbs are just that bright. It is pitch black outside so no outside light is 'helping' the room any. I love these bulbs. About a year ago I had purchased a different brand of bulbs from some other guys, where those 'other' bulbs had flickering problems. These bulbs have had no flickering problems for me. all 6 of them worked. I ordered another 6-pack of these "LUNO A19 Non-Dimmable LED Bulb, 14W (100W Equivalent), 1500 Lumens, 5000K (Daylight), Medium Base" bulbs. If any have problems, I'll post an update here. For those of you who don't know, the "K" measurement is the 'color' of the light. 5k is white, while 3.5k is yellow (called warm light by some). The 'lumens' are just that; the 'illumination', or amount of light that the bulb outputs. I hope the pic helps folks out. I was tired of folks only showing the light bulbs or only the floor or a close-up. This is the whole room, where I have a high, vaulted ceiling and a rather large living room that those bulbs are lighting up. To me, white light gives a 'happy' mood, whereas the yellow lights are dull, depressing.... like a dungeon (in contrast). My opinion, of course.

When I switched to all LEDs in the basement of my home, I transformed it from a gloomy cave into a livable space. My electric bill drop significantly! Significantly. Sig-ni-fi-cant-ly. Score one for me!I did the same upstairs and was very pleased with the new look. Not all LEDs are the same though. These are by far better than the ones I'd purchased earlier. Now, I know this is too bright for most, but I chose 5000k Daylight bulbs. I have enough lamps around the house that I am able to turn off the bright ones and create a more peaceful atmosphere as evening arrives. This is essential for anyone considering purchasing bulbs of this magnitude. You'd go crazy if this were your only source of light throughout the house. Mornings are brighter, along with my attitude towards the coming day. I love them. I haven't received an electric bill yet, but don't really care. I've learned the results from my basement venture and have already reaped the rewards of having them light up my kitchen, making even cooking a happy task.If you suffer from the winter blues as I do, please do yourself the favor of investing in these bulbs. Use them judiciously. You may not need them in the bathroom, for example, and you definitely don't want to have them everywhere including your bedside lamp. It has made such a difference! I no longer need or use the sun lamp I turned on every morning for 20 minutes for years. That is laughably out of date. I want to move around my house in joy! The old "under the lamp" assistance felt medicinal. This feels like a life upgrade. I hope you feel the same. It has been an incredible experience so far.

I tried these out some months back in my bathroom and kitchen and so far, they work perfectly and with absolutely no issues. The brand I used prior had a very short life span compared to these.

Bought at least 42 bulbs recently, only one failure with very dim light.

I have been buying LED lights since they came out -- And were stupid expensive. The problem with all of these modern energy saving bulbs is they don't put out anywhere near the light of the old fashioned incandescent bulbs. That has been my gripe about LEF and CFL bubbles until now. These LUNO A19 bubbles are awesome. The put out a nice smooth light that does not flicker. It is a perfect task light, office light, kitchen light, garage light, basement light, etc. The only thing to keep in mind is this particular bulb is either on and bright or off. It is not dimmable. In situations where you need bright and excellent light that is either on or off you have found it. This is easily as bright as a normal incandescent 100W bulb and the coverage areas is about the same as well. It is nice to see the technology catching up. LED lights are a minion times better for the environment and are a fraction of the cost to operate. I highly recommend this product.

Bulbs worked for my app— wanted a bright shop bulb without a blue color.

They barely use any energy while providing great lighting. They are not even hot to touch if you wanted to change one out for another color bulb. I've purchased these on more than one occasion.
