Theater Solutions TS65C In Ceiling 6.5" Speakers Surround Sound Home Theater Pair,White

I was searching for 5 1/4" HT speakers because I had an area with very tight clearances - especially depth in the ceiling. All the other 8 ohm ceiling speakers I found here had depths that started at 3+" and went up from there. Once I found the Theater Solutions TS50C (5 1/4", 2.25" height, 2 way, white grilles) with those specs (on the their website), I realized I had found the speakers for my applications. I was suspicious and worried about how inexpensive they were though...I always try to buy the highest quality so I don't get "buyer's remorse" and suddenly start justifying the price of that most expensive model. But once I received these speakers, it was obvious that the quality far exceeds the low price. It's like a pricing error. Ha Ha. And Prime shipping sealed the bargain.First of all, the packaging reminds me of how Apple packages it's products. Very protective and professional looking. Secondly, the product design is first rate and makes the installation a breeze: Drill a 6 7/8" hole with a hole-saw for recessed lights, connect 2 wires and turn 4 screws... that's it! And lastly, the sound is surprising - clear and clean and can really take some power without clipping.Sure, if you have space for a 7-10" hole and 3-5" above, then the expensive high-end 6 1/2" or 8" speakers might be just the ticket, but if you match the quality of these TS50Cs with a decent subwoofer, you will be completely surprised and satisfied with this purchase. I bought two sets.

Really excellent speakers. Being used as atmos ceiling speakers in a 5.2.4 set up. All other speakers are klipsch and these matched great. Very solid and heavy. Big magnet for this price. Quality build and super easy to install. Was planning on painting them to match my ceiling but they looked so nice as is we decided to let them stand out.

The media could not be loaded.  Good bang for your buck right here I only have these 2 ceiling speakers hooked up to test the sound and man they sound good. Install was easy just make the cut out comes with a template to trace out the cut then just pop the screen covers off with the provided hook to pull cover off then wire them in then slip them in the ceiling it has 4 Phillip head screws you have to screw in for it to hook on to the ceiling tighten the screws till you see it get flush with the ceiling, screwing them in almost sounded like I broke a plastic from the hooks but no it was fine did on almost all. Good quality for the money.

I have 10 of these in the ceiling of my house and they do an excellent job, especially for the price. The sound and the range is crisp and clear and the installation is a snap in sheetrock.

As soon as these came in I installed them. Was looking for an in-ceiling speaker that had a pivoting tweeter and didn’t cost 300+. The 6.5” model and up are the ones to go for if you’re looking for something similar. The sound of these actually are closer in timber with my other speakers. They are a tad bit brighter though. Needless to say these were a good choice. Glad I decided on them.

I did not expect much audio quality from these speakers at this price point. I have been very pleasantly surprised. Fantastic sound for music listening. Buy these, they will not disappoint.

Did not bring the grille removal tool nor the adhesive. Both described in the parts list. Instructions booklet should include explanatory graphics.

I used this to add sound to a classroom. The teacher loves it!

Perfect speakers for the Job. I've placed them in the new basement development. They look professional and offer great sound and great value for the money. These are perfect for those of us who like to do it ourselves and save the money on getting somebody in. Easy installation and everything was provided.My DIY Theatre looks and sounds amazing. I'm no speaker snob but I can tell a decent sound when I hear it. :-)

Wow, I really has fairly modest expectations to be honest these are quite amazing. I have energy & monoprice, would say they they are definitely better than the monoprice. The bass is outstanding given the size of the speaker.

I bought these speakers strictly for the ceiling pair for Dolby Atmos effect, paired with a 7.2 system and using Onkyo TX-NR787 receiver, connected to the receiver Ceiling1. Sound at first was iffy not being calibrated but once I calibrated and tested a few newer 4K movies and 4K youtube tests, this is where the 360 degree sound was complete with 7.2.2 sounds. The Atmos sounds of birds and helicopters really brings it all into the room and these speakers help do there part for that purpose. Good design, well made housing and installation depends on you house. My house had wood strapping between drywall and floor joists with gaps of 10 inches so not a lot of room for error. In cutting first speaker my mistake was not cutting to outside edge of the line made from template, otherwise speakers won't fit into the drywall.

Excellent value, and good sound for the money. Used as an Atmos speaker and does what it is supposed to do!
