Absolutely Great!
This cartridge sounded great right out Reof box. It has a sound all it own. I can I know already that listening to this cartridge is going to be a rewarding experience! The cartridge comes in its own special plastic box. The lid can be used as a magnifier to help with installation. The stylus cantilever is made of carbon fiber in The U. k. by Rega. This cartridge is standard on some models ofRega turntables.

Great value for Rega owners
After 50 years of listening to loud rock i can’t tell the difference between a $65, $650 or $6500 cartridge. The carbon sounds great, was easy to install on my P3, and the price is right. Also replacement styli are available.

Quality at a Bargain Price
I usually don't waste my time submitting reviews but, this cartridge deserves some praise. If you're astute as to cartridges, you'll know that the quality of sound depends on the turntable/arm match. I'm using this on a Stanton ST-150. I originally purchased an Audio Technica cartridge for the turntable. Having nothing to compare to at that time, I was happy with it. After bending the cantilever, I bought the Carbon as a backup. However, I now use it as my primary cartridge. Reason being is that it cuts down groove noise without damping the high end. I would have given it a five star but, deep base is slightly lacking. However, tweaking the subwoofer covers things nicely. I'm not an analog fanatic. Anyone that says analog is superior to digital is probably delusional or has an incredible amount of money and time to try out and match cartridges to a turntable. 97% of the music for under $100 is a no-brainer.

Best Cartridge in it’s price Range! I.M.O 🤷🏻♂️
The media could not be loaded. I love this cartridge, the highs and mids are perfectly tuned in my opinion, it does however favor bass but it doesn’t overpower by any means! Amazing cartridge for price! Way better than the competition for sure. I used to have the green one ;) and this one blows it out the water. And I also use the shure M44G and although that one is a much louder cartridge and has much more precision on the highs and lows I prefer this one, but it’s just my opinion!

Underrated cartridge
Clear treble and smooth bass response. I alternate between this and the Ortofon 2m Red on my Denon DP 400. Yes, it’s that good.

Underrated! Good stuff !
Actually 4 1/2 stars , under rated well made good balance in highs and lows , a bit short on the high end but nothing the receiver / equalizer can’t handle !!!!

Good starter cartridge
This was for an old Rega P3 I was planning on gifting and wanted to have something they could start listening to music on and if they get into it they can upgrade.
