Good for the price - Magnet will fall out eventually
If you're using this occasionally, it's a great product for the price. I hide a key in it occasionally if I need to leave a car for my wife or a family member to pick up at the airport, etc...I have purchased two of these and the first one's magnet fell out (the adhesive failed) after 2-3 years. As long as you're not like, keeping it exposed to the elements all of the time, or underneath a moving vehicle or something, it'll work just fine.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, THE MAGNET WILL NOT STAY SECURED.....
I purchased this in Feb 2015, in April of 2015 I lock myself out of my car and need to get in. I get under my car to retrieve my key box from the tucked under spot on the aluminum frame and to my surprise it was gone, with my only spare key inside. After this whole spiel was over with, I headed to Napa or Pep Boys for some items and noticed they can make a copy of your key there for like $2.50 (keep in mind I drive a 1994 Acura Integra, no special computer key or anything just very basic), They had a key holder in the store which looked very similar to this one, only it cost $7.99; I put my new key in the box, placed under my car IN THE SAME SPOT.Yesterday, July 19, 2015 I was out playing golf with my cousin, we returned to my car to find my keys still in the ignition. I laid on the floor and slid my shoulder under my bumper to reach my spare key, thank God it was here this time... This made me think of purchasing this months ago and I wanted to give the company the credit they deserve.. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM WHEREVER IT IS MADE, JUST GO TO YOUR AUTO PARTS STORE AND PURCHASE THEIR TRUSTED MODEL; chances are, they have tested theirs and know it will work; it surely worked for me and it is definitely worth it to get the right one. The time it will save you alone is worth the extra couple of bucks.

So I just bought some super magnets that are tiny and super glued them all ...
this fit my key well. it has the buttons on the end for locking and unlocking car so it is bulky. this worked well. I did however read the review stating that it had a weak magnet. So, since I paid 160$ for my key, I did not want to risk losing it. So I just bought some super magnets that are tiny and super glued them all around the case. worked well

Good though not strong enough.
Large case which was wonderful. One could place two keys and even a twenty dollar bill in it. That said, the magnet must have not been very strong given that after a few weeks I noticed it was no longer there. Thankfully I noticed this before I needed it! I would recommend purchasing one that is more expensive and has reviews affirming the strength of the magnet.

Cheap insurance
Non-rusting, plastic with a positive closing lid. Even disregarding the inconvenience, think how much time and money losing your keys or even locking them in your car would be.

Poor quality
Magnet became detached as son as I touched it to a metal surface.. the magnet is weaker than than the old box this one was supposed to replace. I bought this for my car as a spare key but i wouldnt trust it to hang on so I will find another use for it.. it looks good but nah

so far so good
After 10 lockouts in a year I finally did the smart thing and bought this. The magnet seems strong (it adheres well to the chassis) but the lid seems a bit flimsy? It's very easy to open, which makes me a bit nervous considering all the bumping it will experience under my vehicle. I haven't had to use it yet (thank god!) but so far this works very well!

LIFE SAVER!
I don't speed but I can say this thing stays on no matter what! The magnet might not be the strongest but it sure can stick. This thing stays in place. I recently had to spend $90 for a taxi ride to get my spare key and come back. Had I had this I would of saved my self a lot of money and time. I may add some supper glue to it in the future and keep it under the car permanently.Just saying if your are really concerned about the magnet get a neodymium magnet and some supper glue.
