Sakkas Egan Long Embroidered Caftan Dress/Cover Up with Embroidered Cap Sleeves

I love all of the Sakkas one size long dresses, particularly the Egan versions. They are very long and have heavier material, so less sheer and a bit more dressy. The front tied lapel is all looks, but adds nicely to the style by giving it a bit more class. The sleeves are a mix of sheer and heavy embroidery, so it is very lovely in the sun with such intricate patterns. This version is slightly heavier than the Shasta Lace, but still very loose and comfortable. The sides are longer on the Egan than any other Sakkas one size version, which makes it great for the older gals that don't want to show their legs and are modest. This style does not make older women appear childish or out of date--it is becoming for all ages. I am older at 61, at 5'6", 38c bust, 155 lbs., and it looks very mature and appropriate on me and not like I'm a teenager in an older woman's body. This is a denim color, and very lovely but the online version doesn't live up to the true coloring which is quite attractive. Some of the Sakkas photos really don't do their product full justice for their intensely gorgeous colors. They are much nicer when you see them in person. I find their styles work for church, social functions, parties, weddings, and can even be a dressy beach cover. Very versatile! I live in AZ which is why I love these light and airy one size styles. The prices are amazingly affordable as well. I own 16 different versions of Sakkas dresses--that's how much I love them! Oh, and I paid my own dime for all of them, so there is no bias in my reviews either.

I'm about 5'6" and 160lbs. This dress-style looked like a tent or over-sized nightgown on me. Very sheer fabric would require an undergarment.

One size fits all dress is very flattering-I am 204 pounds 5'6" and it is loose enough not to show any fat rolls but my breasts at 45" does not leave any extra material. Workmanship, style, material, aqua color is excellent. I will be very gentle with cold water hand wash so it does not shrink since it is form fitting in breast area..the Sakkas 18802 Lily freckled dye (I bought lovely coral color) fits more flowing and has ample room for my girth.

I bought the Sakkas Shasta dress and the Egan dress in several colors. The difference between these two is that the Egan has a two-tone color scheme that reads as a single color but gives it a bit more interest and textured appearance, while the Shasta is a single color; otherwise the embroidery and style is the same. I bought the red Egan and it is actually a beautiful deep rusty rich brick red, not the orange-y fire engine red the monitor showed. I also bought the chocolate which is a dull taupe and will be going back! The Egan red dress was a bit more snug through the shoulders and back on me but I am a tall large woman with muscular swimmer's shoulders. This dress fit me fine although I had wondered how it would look with my 47" bust; I can't imagine ordering this if you wear anything less than a size 14. I have an exaggerated hourglass figure and was afraid this style would add weight in the waist but it actually looks pretty flattering. The Shasta dress is a bit more roomy throughout and is a couple of inches longer, too. I wish this dress were 3-4" longer since the longest point hits me mid-calf and the sides show my knees but I like the look! I haven't washed it yet so can't speak to that.

I love love love this dress!! I am a size 14 and I wanted to purchase a dress for an upcoming birthday party. Nothing seemed to fit or was flattering. This dress is perfect. The fit was very flattering and the color is nice. The price is so reasonable too. Finally a beautiful dress that looks great on. Would recommend this dress to any woman of any size.

I would like to give this product 5 stars because it fits great (I am a size 16), it's beautiful and light weight - everything is perfect except for the color. The dress is rust, (an orangish rust rather than a red rust), so I have to give it 4 stars.

Absolutely love the style, material and fit! As soon as I tried it on, went back and ordered 3 more in different colors.Always difficult to find that perfect summer dress, that is feminine, lightweight, comfortable, modest and compliments one's figure. This dress has it all.The material is semi-see-through, so some ladies may want to add a slip, but on those 100 degree days or in the evenings when the sun cannot silhouette the body, I wouldn't worry too much about it! :)Another reviewer commented that the style is not good for petites. Well, I am only 5' 2", but I know how to use a needle and thread. The front, if worn with flats, is slightly too long, but easily rectified, by hemming the point an inch or two.

This dress really surprised me! I was expecting something gauzy and fragile at this price. What I recieved was an extremely flattering dress made of a smooth silky material, not fragile at all and very comfortable. I was also leery about the 'one size' truly fitting since I'm small but have a large-ish chest. I figured there was a good possibility that I'd either be swamped by the dress or not be able to breath. Neither one is true. Whoever made this dress knew what they were doing. It glides over your curves but doesn't stick where you don't want it to. I had planned to use this as a cover-up but now it's my go-to summer dress. In fact, I'm going to get another color. I bought the 'coffee' color, which is a bit darker than the picture and has a hint of an olive undertone. It may not sound pretty but it really is in person.
