Good pole only downside is the top line holder pins are not sturdy with just a small screw through them. I welded mine in place so won’t move but not sure they would last long with just the screw provided

This was very well made and when it was put together it felt very sturdy!

Bought two of these clothes poles for the garden as I dislike rotary driers. One arrived with one of the top cross tines missing, the supplier refused help and as it does not affect the function, I have not pursued the issue. A friend cemented the the socket into place. I’d advise burying the socket well down as the poles are too high if the top of the socket is level with the ground. That was how mine were fitted and it meant I had to shorten the poles a bit. However it was easy with the help of a good hacksaw. The poles are not robust and I’m not sure how long they will last. The plastic line is useless, it’s far too thin to peg items on and when cut it was apparent the core was just soft cotton material. I have bought a thicker plastic line with a wire core similar to ones that were sold in the past for this purpose.

If I could mark it lower I would!!!!!!Where do I begin;1. HEAVY DUTY - it definately is not!!! Lightweight and flimsy more accurately describes the item.2. Top cap doesn't fit properly, its slack and just falls out.3. Cross pieces for rope/line are very short4. Self tapping screws are not long enough to achieve a solid fix between cross pieces and main pole5. Metal to the main pole and cross pieces is so thin the short self tapping screws provided easily reamed a hole in the thin and flimsy main pole and cross piece resulting in inability to secure the cross piece to the main pole. Will have to resort to using larger diameter screw or probably nut and bolt.6. Ground socket only 155mm long - any strong wind would cause it to move as insufficient depth for a proper base even in concrete. This might even be intentional as if the pole is subjected to any degree of lateral load (by wind on a clothes line) it would probably bend the "HEAVY DUTY" pole!!!DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Very easy to put up , very straightforward

Im a welder and work with metal all day everyday this product is very thin metal wall and will rust very quick and break, my advice go to a welding firm and ask them to make one for you with 5mm thick wall compared to 1.5mm wall this product has for same price
