My grandson was celebrating his tenth birthday (the floor littered with toys they we never had when we were that age!). His mother asked him the above question as he went up to bed. It's not complex or too hard, but it did get him to scratch his head on a number of occasions.Put a coin inside the box (if you've figured how to do it yourself), so that the box makes a noise when you shake it. No tugging, pulling or twisting needed.

Very good but did not come with any instructions but I found out how it worked from u tube I collect puzzle box’s and my grandson has a Fascination for them to so made a nice birthday present and he loves it good look with your purchases all the best Adam

I bought two of these to put hide money in as presents. Watching the kids little faces get more and more frustrated as they couldn't solve the box was the greatest gift any parent could have! They did eventually solve it, took them about an hour. Great little puzzle box, well made, but could possible be opened by a frustrated child with a lump hammer.

Great box for putting a little gift voucher or tickets in (I managed to get in two tickets and, with a bit of bending at the unimportant edges, ten £1 scratch cards). I must be thick but I couldn't work this out without going on a popular video sharing platform. Sure there are only three or four 'moves' to open it but if you don't know 'em they're pretty hard to work out.Also there's a real nice feel of quality to finish of the wood. Not splinters or sharp edges.Certainly makes a gift more interesting in my opinion. Recommended.

Damn it, I so wanted this to be a tough one and it really should have been except that I tried a thing I'd seen on the Internets for a different puzzle and it worked....I *(SO)* wish it hadn't but It was open after about 10 minutes.Still, I'll have fun watching Wifey and family struggling 😂 I still haven't done the 'Dice box' or the 'Infinity' thing from Hanyama. I love this stuff. 5/5

Product was great quality. Really nice finish on it but it's just to easy to open

Box came in bubble wrap, took weeks to arrive and had no instructions.Nicely made but a bit simple. You only need to rotate a piece, turn it over and the compartment slides open. Would have liked a few more moves to open.
