High class roasting
Every recipe appears delicious. The photographs are beautiful and the directions are clear. From the "Every Day of the Week" part of the title, I expected a more practical book. Eight of the nine "Monday" roast beef recipes call for tenderloin. That's far from "every day" in my world. Tuesday is veal. Wednesday is chicken and game, but there are only two chicken recipes and one recipe for turkey in the chapter. I sure would like such high class fare to be my everyday meals!

Fabulous!
This is the only cookbook you will ever need for any roast, of any kind of meat, game, fish, or fowl. It is beautifully organized, starting out with a plain roast of each kind, and then giving multiple variations that can follow, giving the cook an almost infinite repertoire and an easy understanding of the process, on which to build their own creativity.

Sophisticated, Hearty, Useful
If you really want to cook meat (instead of just talking about cooking it or discussing cooking it or aspiring to cook it someday when you take a break from the Cooking Channel), buy this cookbook or one of Reynaud's other fine cookbooks.

nicely written and presented book
this is a beautiful book. i've tried two of the recipes, and they have both been good.it's a well written and presented book, and the bits of french here-and-there add to the charm.

What a great book. Roasting is one of the great pleasures ...
What a great book. Roasting is one of the great pleasures of cooking and the recipes here are fantastic. Easy, but not patronizingly simple that it takes shortcuts for convenience at the expense of flavor. Lots of recipes for pork, lamb, beef, fish.

Fantastic and very useful!
When we were in Paris, my wife and I had a chance to eat at Stephane Reynaud's restaurant. The food was wonderful (best of my life) and we even got to meet Stephane, who was an extremely nice man. All of his books reflect this - world class food presented in a thoughtful and accessable manner.

Love rustic ideas
I've never been dissappointed by any of Stephane Reynaud's cookbooks, I've got all I could lay my hands on. It's rustic, honest, French home cooking. If you like food without pretense, he's your guy.

Highly Recommended
Stephane is my hero! I watched a Saturday Kitchen where he and Nathan Hale were the featured cooks. Stephane was cooking on a green small BBQ and I had never seen one, but knew it would be a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Naturally, anything used on the BBC the license payers have no right to know the name of the products (go figure that one out). So I emailed James Martin and Nathan Hale and these two English super cooks could not be bothered to answer. So I went to Stephane and he immediately told me it was the Big Green Egg and I bought one. I also bought all of his cookbooks as a thank you and they are just great.

Still I love it.
Made a mistake about this book, however, I am enjoying its contents. I originally thought it was a recipe book on making Roti, silly me. Still I love it.

Deceptively simple
A beautifully photographed and illustrated book - the design and finish are truly impressive. More importantly, the recipes are easy to follow, especially for novice cooks.Highly recommended.
