I am a big fan of Eugenio Derbez. I thnk he did a great job with this movie, It reminded me a bit of the early 90's style novelas from the estranged mother to reconnecting after some time, the personal growth that a new child brings. And of course the comedy syle that only Eugenio knows how to bring. You will like this movie if you want a family friendly film.

There's never been a realer father

I watched this based on the glowing review of Book-Movie-Music Lover. I am not so taken with the movie, however, it's worth watching. I think some of the goofiness sabotages the story telling, for example, the director wants us to know he's a lothario, the filming of his errant ways is clumsy and unappealing. He is not convincing as a man who beds many women. However, the story takes off once certain characters are introduced. The child actress is fantastic.

Great movie for both English and Spanish speakers.

Don't let the foreign parts put you off a lot of this is English. Good comedy with a unexpected ending, good film, would recommend.

This dvd doesn’t work in the uk due to its coding. Very angry.

Il film in questione comincia come una commedia molto divertente con battute anche intelligenti.Il regista/protagonista è stato in grado di mettere in scena un' opera della durata di quasi 2 ore che non annoia, ma anzi stupisce.Pur essendo una commedia, non vi sono parolacce o volgarità.La pellicola è a schermo intero (1,78:1) e si presente con un' ottima definizione e colori sempre caldi e mai troppo sparati (dipende anche dal televisore che usate).Meravigliosa la tematica che il film va toccando: temi molto importanti dal punto di vista morale e che vi faranno innamorare del protagonista e del suo modo di essere padre.Consigliato senza riserve.

Commedia un po' particolare ma per noi è un film che tocca tante corde emotive, quinidi molto positivo.Il finale è davvero commovente, amore, vita, famiglia allargata, un po' di tutto ma tutto attuale e vero.Nel suo genere davvero bello.
