I was looking forward to reading this book. I think the publisher wanted a certain number of pages so the writer just keeps repeating the same thing over and over. The writer also seems to loose track on what is written. Good example, the book states how training starts while you are bringing your puppy home but does not give you any suggestions on what you should do.

Go to book after getting my first puppy! I should have read the whole thing before getting her - hard to find time afterwards lol! Easy to read, good humor, and obvious care about dogs.

This book reads as though the author wrote in their native language and used a computer to translate it. Not a smooth or perfect read. Easy enough to understand but slightly annoying and distracting.

Clearly, the author is passionate about the subject, presenting their knowledge in a simple to understand format. Already these techniques are working for me and my pup, and I am glad I read this book. If you are an enthusiastic, but unsure doggy parent to a mini-shepherd dog, this book is a great resource.

Wow, really blown away that I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. My mini Aussie Pismo is coming along well thru this. These techniques seem to be working good for him.
