For those who don't know, Siren is another word for mermaid .. the dangerous and beautiful creatures in Greek mythology that lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island. Starbucks developed their original Siren logo around the seafaring history of coffee and Seattle's strong seaport roots.
