Good value, attractive bowl
We have quite a few enamel pots and pans which have proved to be useful and long lasting, and I think this will be too.The ones we have are white with a blue rim, and even though they have got chipped with wear they are still in regular use. This beautiful bowl (saffron yellow with a brown rim) is a welcome addition to our kitchen. It is a reasonable weight so it won't tip over and spill its contents. We don't eat tapas, but we put serving dishes on the table every night, and this will certainly brighten up dinner times in our household. It looked so bright and vibrant sitting on our table last night (used it to serve peas). It is oven friendly so there are no concerns about putting it in there, or even under the grill. It conducts heat very well, so it stays hot for a long time - oven gloves needed. The handles on either side make it very easy to pick up from the table or out of the oven. The finish is not brilliant - there is a sharp bit on the handle and the enamelling is not perfect - but it looks cheery and bright, especially on these colder nights. My wife is planning to use it to make an individual fish pie for me in it, and I am looking forward to it.

I Love This Useful Dish!
Kitchen Craft 'World of Flavours' 5½" Enamel Serving Dish in YELLOWI love this little dish – it is so cute and so useful. Made of enamel it has a retro feel (I remember the white enamel dishes with the black edges), but with this vibrant colour it is retro with a modern twist. This has so many uses – a snack dish/ a soup bowl / for a side salad / in the oven for a single serving cottage pie etc and many other applications. It would even be nice as a water bowl or feeding dish for a cat or small dog.In winter, the saffron yellow colour of the enamel evokes the exotic Far East, and in summer the heat of the Mediterranean countries. The bowl is a nice weight and in no way flimsy feeling. The coating of the enamel is even, and seems to be a thick coating. After use, just soak the dish in warm or hot water, and then gently wash with a liquid detergent. Do not use anything abrasive in the form of cleaning pads or gritty powders. This little dish has a 12 month Guarantee and at an RRP of £7.99 it is good value.

Value for money
A robust little dish which will be ideal for making individual dishes for elderly Mum as well as its advertised use as a Tapas dish. Made from enamel, it will cope with extremes of temperature (from fridge to oven) but is more delicate when it comes to washing-up. It will spoil the enamelling if you scrub at it with scourers--I just let it soak until the food residue rinses off. It seems to cope with the dishwasher but I think the enamel will last longer with handwashing. I also wouldn't put this in the microwave. As a serving dish, with food in it, I think few people would notice that this is not a traditional earthenware Tapas bowl. It is coloured to resemble one, but will hopefully not crack if you drop it.My husband thought this was a pet bowl and you could use it as one, but I think it's much too nice!

Colour of the baked earth in Spain
I love this hot orange Tapas pot, it reminds me of holidays in Spain, and all the delicious tastes on offer there. This enamelware pot is really chunky, two little ear handles make it a miniature casserole shape. Its just right for a tasty dish to whet your appetite. It has an earthy brown enamelled lip and a bright white inside. It will be great, .well maybe until it gets a chip in it, which all enamelware does suffer in the end. It's worth taking care of this, you will need more than one for all those tasty nibbles. Fried Potatoes in Garlic Mayonnaise, Fried Chickpeas, Garlic Mushrooms, Warm Olives with Lemon and Herbs, Olive Tapenade, Pan Fried Calamari....Disfruta tu comida!

Nice.
A nice way of presenting finger-food and, as advertised, works well for a (deep) creme brulée. They'll be good for regular dinner table use or at a party: I've used it a handful of times for chips/crips and sliced carrots (alongside hummus). Would also be good for a small portion of melted cheese nachos. It's okay in the oven, and gets hots quickly – obviously – meaning the creme brulée was warmed all the way through and had a crispy top. It's easy to wash by hand and/or in the dishwasher. Being enamel they should last some time, even if the paint was the ever get chipped! My only gripe is that it's a shame these aren't sold in packs, as two or three together would be great, but also semi-expensive.

Functional and aesthetically pleasing
I have to confess that I got this not for its usual purpose, but for use in my model-making activities. I think it's a well made and attractively coloured dish, both of which are qualities important to me. And it's working perfectly for my requirements, the enamelled finish making it easier to clean when in use with acrylic paints, and the metal/enamel combo also helping keep warm water warmer longer when in use with water-slide decals. So, not the orthodox use for which it's intended, perhaps, but I'm very happy with it!
