it is perfectly working for my AC.

Remote works properly with the ac. But the stand shown in the photo was not delivered . Other than that no complaints so far

I purchased the remote in April, 2022 for 479. It was fine for a week, but suddenly the extreme bottom part of the display went dark when backlight was turned on, and it remained like that. You can see it on the second photo. It doesn't affect functionality of course, but still, should be mentioned nonetheless. That's the reason why I'm giving it 3 stars. I contacted customer support via email but they replied how to setup the remote, that's another reason to deduct a star, scripted responses. An original Hitachi remote costs 900 btw, so 479 isn't that cheap for a duplicate remote either. But as long as its core functions are fine, I suppose it's okay. But cannot give 5 stars for a partially dead display.Regards,Saurav Ghosh

This is a perfect replacement for my original Hitachi remote. I bought my Hitachi window AC about 3 years ago from Amazon, and everything was perfect then. Some time later, the remote started to behave in an erratic manner, and I wanted to replace it with an original Hitachi remote, but had no luck with the Hitachi dealers. Started to look on online sites for replacement remotes, and then discovered that my original remote was different from all the Hitachi type remotes available for sale...........my original Hitachi remote had three ( 3 ) rows of buttons, and all remotes displayed as Hitachi compatible had four ( 4 ) rows of buttons ! ! The body of the remotes were identical to my original remote, and if the listings showed the keyboard flap closed, I had no way of knowing how many rows of buttons were available. However, I asked a seller with good feedback about the difference in his remotes and mine, and he said if mine was an original Hitachi remote, his would also work.Long story short. Bought the remote, tested it immediately, and it worked. Put it away as I thought I would use the old original remote till it really dies on me. When the time came to use the newer remote, I discovered that it was also erratic in use, one day ok, next day troublesome, and I had to use the keys on the AC itself quite often. I was starting to think that perhaps the real problem was in the AC itself, not in the remotes.A while back, while browsing on Amazon, I came across listings for replacement AC remotes, and reading the excellent comments and reviews of one particular seller, I decided to take a chance on buying that remote. I can only say that this UPIX remote is perfect, works flawlessly , and perhaps better than my original remote. It has only been a few days in use, and have had no problems at all.I just wish to reiterate that this is a genuine review, and I have no association with the seller or the UPIX brand in any way. For those who are wary of buying and getting disappointed regarding Hitachi compatible remotes, I can only say that this is the perfect replacement.

Worked better then the original remote. Your Air conditioner is working well with this remote. What else you need. Build quality is also good.

I ordered after confirmation of right remote link by the seller, somehow the one received 1st was not working with my ac. Then I returned and replacement was received quickly, which is working now well. I believe it will work for longer period since writing my review on the same day of delivery.
