TerramarMen's Silkskins 6" Boxer Briefs
A**I
The most comfortable underwear I've ever worn in my life by a longshot.
Quick warning: It does seem to me, after buying multiple different colors of these briefs, that they use different material or a different stitching method depending on the color. It wasn't until after the labels had faded away from washing that I thought to check and see if the materials differ from color to color, but in my experience the gray briefs are made with material that's less stretchy and the seams will break open much sooner than the blue or black. That being said, these are easily the most comfortable underwear I've ever used, regardless of style, materials used or price paid. Literally any time the topic of underwear comes up in conversation, I feel an innate duty to recommend people try Silkskins at least once before they die. The cloth is extremely soft even after being washed many times, as well as stretchy. That, on top of the fact that the material is quite thin, means that these briefs allow cool air to pass through when there's a breeze, while still being sturdy and elastic enough to give me a sort of constant supportive "squeeze" all around. These are quite honestly even more comfortable than simply having nothing on at all, as they offer support for your equipment in the front, keeping all of your important articles somewhat separated in the pouch. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the horizontal fly is easily way more functional and comfortable to use than the traditional setup because it opens so widely with ease, yet it's never loose or threatens to let your precious cargo pop out without you intending to use it. This type of fly simply wouldn't be possible without such a stretchy and sturdy material. The waistband is very thick and resistant to folding over, while still being very stretchy and comfortable. It feels really nice, almost like you're wearing a ridiculously soft belt. It certainly does function quite like a belt, keeping the briefs in place even while you're bending and stretching. All around, I couldn't recommend these enough (apart from the warning at the beginning of this review). They're great for sleep, work, relaxation, exercise, literally everything. Every other pair of underwear I've owned seemed to only be good for certain situations, but Silkskins are jacks and masters of all trades.

Buy these boxers; Terramar can't be beat!
Terramar 6in Silkskins boxers are comfortable and exceptionally durable. They're less expensive than other brands, but far better in every respect. I initially bought these to act like "sliders" under my workout shorts, but ended up wearing these boxers exclusively for at least 5 years now. They're that good.Sizing is important; you should be willing to eat a few bucks to find the exact right fit, but know that they'll easily grow and shrink with minor weight swings. It'll be worth it when you realize the boxers will last for YEARS, even through repeated weekly machine washings. Also, once you're addicted to these and stop replacing your boxers every 5 months, you'll have $ leftover to invest in other Terramar clothes. Their winter gear is what initially hooked me. I bought these boxers and loved them before I realized they were Terramar. You're going to love their baselayers (tops and bottoms) whether you're a man or woman. And, their brand is way less expensive than the big names because they don't pay for advertising. Incredible durability, and unbeatable quality for winter layering (and boxers). You won't regret a Terramar purchase.Note: I'm not a Terramar shill, just very pleased with my gear from them over the years. No freebies, discounts, etc. My wallet might be a bit healthier otherwise, but like I said: good stuff is worth it.

Pretty good so far
First pair of these for me. Been looking at good alternatives to Ex-Officio give-n-go boxer briefs. EOs have been good for me in that they’ve been durable, can wear backpacking for multi day trip if needed, which drying, odor resistant. They do pill a little but it seems to have stopped and they are holding up.So for this product (not here to review EO): haven’t had for long but the modal fabric seems to be more woven and cotton like than the poly/spandex of their standard line (which I also like but have more of a rash guard textile feel and look). Odd to me that the Silkskins don’t mention the brand Terramar anywhere on the item or labeling. Is this trying to distance itself from that brand? The feel is nice, the fit is perhaps a little more snug compared to other terramar boxer briefs, but not substantial. Horizontal fly is interesting, not sure it’s an improvement at this point.I’ve been a regular fit cotton boxer wearer for the most part until recently unless traveling or backpacking, for which I’ll wear boxer briefs, but lately I’ve come to like the fit of some better boxer briefs and especially like that I can use them for travel with multi day use, activities such as skiiing or cycling and they are quick wash/quick drying. I hang these out to dry to maximize lifespan. I’ve also found I enjoy the boxer briefs as an alternative to running shorts with liners or swim suite.TBD for this; durability with strenuous activity (bike/spin rides lasting 1 hour plus, running 4-10 miles typically)?Price and quality is main draw at this point. In the past I’ve been able to find EO for $30 or less for a 3 pack, but haven’t seen that price for awhile and these come in at a little over $10/boxer to around $5 for the standard boxer brief 3 pack. If these hold up, I’ll probably keep coming back for more when needed.

Too Bad
These are very comfortable and good looking boxers. But...the seam to the right of the fly split open on the first day I wore one pair. The second pair remained intact through its first day of use. It appears to have been one poorly stitched seam, not a design failure. I'll update later.
