Not bad for the money, but the picture is a bit misleading. You only get one case not 7 which supposedly contain 6000 beads which became all mixed together in transit because the lid on case doesn't fit snuggly enough to keep the beads contained to their individual bins, which is a small hassle to select the color you want for a 6yo. Also the tool to pick up and place the beads seems to jam while loading it with beads which becomes frustrating. If you already own the original Aquabeads brand kit it is fine to be used as a refill. The beads are a little more pliable than the brand name ones and seem to bond together a bit faster and better. Hope this helps in making your decision.

I thought it was just a refill of beads but we found more accessories in there than we expected (patterns, key chain accessories, spray bottle, scraper ... Etc). That was a lovely surprise. The beads are not the same quality as the aquabeads but they work fine. This picture shows a couple of irregular beads we found. But in general it we good and my daughter loved it.

I wanted to get some cheaper refills for my kids aquabeads set so I took a chance on these. No only did the kit come with a lot of usable accessories the beads were better! Where most of the aquabeads brand projects took a day or more to fully dry, they would curl up on the sides and the colors would often run. With this set they lay flat and the colors barely run and they were dry and ready to go in a fraction of the time regular aquabeads are. My kids intermingled both types of beads in projects with no issues but ultimately preferred these beads as did I. The only thing I noticed was that the templates that come with this are difficult to use with the aquabeads brand base as the holes for the beads don’t really line up but it made no difference to my kids, they used them together anyway and did just fine. A very good deal for the money.

My daughter is ten and loves loves loves these! More affordable than the other brands. FYI instructions are in another language but she already knew what to do so we didn’t need them!

These are great! I bought an aqua bead set for my kiddos. They loved it and went through the water beads fast. I was on the search to find replacement beads. The aqua beads are kind of pricey and don’t include that many. Found these and are very happy with them. I was hesitant as some reviews said the sizes were different and that the beads’ colors bled over- this was not my experience. I can’t really tell the difference between these and aqua beads. The color selection was great.

Like another said, occasionally there's a bead that's smaller and misshapen and unusable. I would think that since this set says 6000 plus beads they included extra to make up for these. But we've only come across a couple so far that are like that. They work well and we use them with our aquabead sets. There interchangeable. Like the instructions say, if your child is going to play with them on the carpet put something down underneath them (table cloth, cardboard, place mat) bc when they spray it with water the beads are going to melt and fuse together. Some of the dye will run. It did not effect the end product. The creation still had color on the beads. When you spray with water, really douse it so they stick well and then let them sit for at least 15 min. We tried letting them sit over night and they curled up a little. But when we removed them after 15 min or so they remained flat. Great value. I would buy again. I just wish it included some sparkly or translucent beads as well.

This is the best set ever!!!! Includes everything you will ever need. Tons of beads in each compartment with a variety of colors. Plenty of designs to choose from and three different sizes of forms to use so that means more than one kid/person can be beading at a time. Only negative is I wish better instructions to make keychains and other accessories. Tried and failed. Much happier and prefer over Aqua-beads. Good value for the cost. You will not be disappointed.

Children up to teens love this item, they sent many hours creating their designs.
