This is my second Barry Wang Ratchet Strap. Both have replaced origial straps on Chaoren ratchet belts. Sure wish Barry Wang belts were made in USA because they have quality similar to American items in the age when I grew up. The surface stamping could be a bit better. Othwise the strap looks and feels fine around my waist.Most important: Barry Wang straps I've purchased came with a leather keeper-loop. First cut the strap -- but feel free to cut it much longer -- then attach the strap to the buckle. Lastly, slide the keeper-loop onto the strap and let it fall all the way to the buckle. Now put on the belt and pull that keeper-loop through your pants belt loop(s). Even if your belt is long, you can use that loop as an auxiliary, keeping excessive strap from drooping. You don't need to worry about cutting your replacement strap short.Recommended.

To unlock the buckle you need to put it's forward then unlock it then pull it back instead of just unlocking and pulling back. But other then that it'd a good buckle

I have been thru several of click replacement belts. This is by far the best.The teeth usually tear into fake leather and you keep having to trim down, this onehas lasted and lasted. Great belt.

I've had ratchet belts for quite some time, but I decided to give this one a try, because it let you pick the strap and buckle, individually, so that you get exactly what you want. I was very impressed with the quality of both. The strap seems very durable and the leather pattern and texture are very attractive. I expect to buy additional straps that also coordinate with the buckle

It's a good quality buckle. I personally don't think that they should put a card in with the product asking to leave a review though. They also ask not to leave a bad review, which is wrong.
