I have always looked for the name Bridgedale when buying my walking socks. Reliable, dependable and made to last. Wash well and the most important thing they do not cause blisters on my feet. Yes, they can be a little expensive, but you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny.

I’ve been wearing Bridgedale socks for years. Are they expensive, yes, but in my view worth the money as they definitely last. Little bit of an issue with delivery as the order for 3 pairs was split into 2 separate deliveries and the second lot never arrived. However Amazon are processing a refund which is fair enough.

Although pricey you will still appreciate the quality long after you forgot the price. Really warm, even in the snow. So comfortable - like walking on a cushion of air. Guaranteed in Germany to last 5 years - mine have lasted longer [This purchase to keep in holiday home.].Advised to wash at 40 degrees on Wool cycle - but do not seem to shrink if higher temperature.No blisters now and I have given up soaking the feet in meths!Size 8.5 is medium.MADE IN UK.

Despite the high price I’ve worn these regularly and never had a problem. Totally recommended for hiking boots.
