I purchased these lights in September of this year and installed them on the ceiling of our gazebo. They worked perfectly until the first week of December. I checked the outlet and it had power, I checked the remote battery and it was good, and I checked the plug unit that has a push button on it, I tried it several times but to no avail. We really like the lights and I didn’t want to have to pull them down and return them so I contacted Dewenwils customer service via email and explained what I was dealing with and asked for help in resolving the problem. Their customer service representative Susie returned my email very quickly. She said it was the plug unit and she would ship a new one out asap. I thought wow, that’s awesome! I received the new plug unit a few days later and I installed it, which is so easy, simply unscrew the connector and put the new one on, and just like that the lights came on! Unfortunately they did not work with the remote so I contacted Susie again and asked if there is a way to program the remote to the new plug unit and yes, she gave me the instructions on the process, which was also very easy. Simply remove the plug unit from power and hold down the on button on the remote and while the remote on button is depressed put the plug unit back into power. It worked! The remote and lights work perfectly again! I just want to say thanks to Susie and Dewenwils for their help and for standing behind their product, that’s 5 star customer service! I will definitely purchase more products from them in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I am trying to upload a photo of these in my yard. Against the snow they look so warm and inviting. I plan to get more and line my entire yard with them. They seem durable so far and the brightness is just right. Also love the option to remote control change the colors. Wish the remote worked from inside the house, but they are worth the walk outside.

I ordered this for a graduation party for my deck. I thought it would be fun to have the school colors flashing. The night we received this, I plugged it in and we had so much fun changing the colors. The next morning I hung the lights and then they no longer worked. I changed the controller's batteries and checked our outlet, looked for links, etc. I called the company and they were very helpful and sent me the connector that had gone bad. Unfortunately, we didn't have the lights for the party. When I changed the connector and it worked, I then noticed that one lightbulb had already burned out. Luckily, there are two additional bulbs in the box. These lights do look beautiful when working. So, great customer service, medium quality product.

We really loved our led string lights and they work well. I did have trouble with the remote but I was able to get assistance from there technical service department and they talked me through reprogramming my remote. And that worked the first time through.It was easy just hold down the power on but while you plug the light in it will flash the blue light three times fast and then your remote should be good to go.I have to say great customer service I’m very impressed.Definitely would buy again.

They looked great when first purchased. They have been used briefly about 4 times. Now 10 weeks after buying it comes time for a BIRTHDAY pool party and they have decided not to work!! $200.00 thrown away for junk. ( 2 sets bought ) BEWARE...its worth the risk......UPDATE..... I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCT AND COULD NOT BE MORE SURPRISED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT ( JOY ) WENT BEYOND ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS. NOT ONLY DID SHE SEND NEW POWER TRANSFORMERS FOR MY LIGHTS BUT SHE KEPT IN TOUCH TO MAKE SURE THAT MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED AND THAT I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALMOST UNHEARD OF THESE DAYS. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. THEIR GREAT!!

Put these lights up last weekend, but one of the sockets won't turn on the white light. It turns on the other colors, red, green, and blue. I swapped bulbs with another socket and even tried the two spare bulbs, same result. Probably will return these, and it appears I won't be able to get a replacement as there are no more of these available on Amazon.

We purchased these lights while working on backyard during the lockdowns last year and were very happy with the look and performance and design of the lights. Last month, we had a bad tropical weather storm and a tree branch fell and knocked down our lights and the plug became submerged for a full day before we realized. While the lights are rain-proof, not many electrical outlets can survive under water for long. So the plug shorted out. I like the lights, so I went about trying to find a replacement plug (which is not available anywhere I could find). I went directly to the manufacture's site and used the general "Contact" form to ask where to find the part. I received a response in short order from Dana in their customer service. She followed up with me several times and arranged for me to get a replacement directly from their warehouse as they typically don't sell them separately.I don't typically review products, but I will most certainly call out good service as it is so rare and memorable these days. I enjoy these lights but I'm grateful when I get treated well as a customer. Thank you Dana!

This product is exactly what I was looking for. It functions as my standard lights and when I have a party or Christmas it changes to festive lighting. The remote control is very temperamental and I have to push the buttons multiple times to get the function I want. The lights work well but are not very bright. Similar to about the old 40 watt. For string lighting they are very adequate.
