The JLX Overdrive is what it's advertised to be. This is not an indoor toy. this is the real deal. Fast and responsive, lots of fun.

This is exactly what we have been looking for in a RC car as far as ruggedness goes. It is great looking, super fast, rugged and fun. The air-filled tires give it an edge most cars just do not have. It bounces right off of things, flips and keeps going at full momentum.The main problem I will say mention is (as expected after reading otyher reviews) is the battery life. We charged it all night and only got about 20-25 minutes of action out of it. We haven't tried it in water yet. Im nervous that it will get half whay across the pond and run out of batteries. Also, I cannot find another battery packl anywhere.

Worth the price. Easy to operate and fun for adults and kids. I recommend a second battery. Maybe extra tire.

This remote control is great fun!! My ten year old is having a blast. The flips and spins are phenomenal. Not great battery life for the charging time but still a lot of fun. Wish I knew where to get replacement parts.

The tires will go bad sooner or later. The company I bought this item from refused to reimburse me for the toy once it went bad. The tires have to be bought separate and in order to get those you need to call or email the company that makes the toy to get a replacement. But the tires puncture very easy and the companies that don't make the toy will not take the broken toy back.

My grandson has really enjoyed it. It is tough and reliable. He has played with it over and over and has not torn it up yet.

This is an awesome RC toy. It flips, it spins, it's super fast and it will run over about anything. I have 2 concerns though: 1. The antenna screws into the remote and it has a short thread area. We accidently dropped the remote on the ground and the antenna broke at the threaded part. A little tape helped saved the day, but still wished it was more durable. #2 concern is the tires. Because you fill them with air, I'm concerned about flats and blowouts that may occur when going over rough terrain. So far, so good. Even with the antenna incident, we love this thing! Be aware that dad's may want one too!
