Works great on my octopi!
I've been using this for the past two months on my Octopi (running on a pi3 b+) to monitor my Ender 3. I have been very happy with this purchase as it was easy to adjust the focus and I can clearly monitor the progress of my 3d prints. I don't need any additional / supplemental lights...the night vision works great!.

Decent camera board with no IR filter - works fine with Raspberry Pi Zero* (details in review)
I bought this to use with my Raspberry Pi Zero W, and it works as advertised. Keep in mind that you will need a buy an additional 3rd party (smaller width) connector cable if you wish to use this with a Raspberry Pi Zero as the included cable is intended for use with the the larger width connectors on the full sized Raspberry PI boards. Raspberry Pi Zero connectors have the same pinout, but in a smaller width.Out of the box, the picture quality is decent, but not great. The provided lens mounted on the board is only rated as HD quality, but the sensor is provides a much better 5MP resolution. This will limit the quality of the images you will get with this camera board. Most people will probably not even care about this given the price of the board. Being a camera guy, this kind of bugged me since I knew the sensor could deliver better images if I used a better lens. After swapping the (M12 mount) lens with a better quality (wide angle) 5MP version, the image quality was very much improved. One thing to you do need to be aware of is that this camera board does not have an IR filter on the sensor or the lens. In daylight situations this will cause your images to have a pink tint. This is not a defect of the camera board, and is normal for camera boards without IR blocking filters on either the sensors or the lenses. When used in indoor situations with artificial lighting the colors will appear closer to normal. If this is a problem for your project, then consider purchasing a replacement M12 mount lens for your camera board that has an integrated IR filter. M12 lenses are an old standard, and are fairly common.Overall, I'm quite happy with this board, and will probably buy more for my other raspberry Pi Zero projects. One star removed because of the poor lens quality. The package does not come with any instructions, so you may need to look up how to enable and use a Raspberry Pi camera. No special drivers are needed to sue this camera board, so once you enable the camera in the "raspi-config", you can use it normally with the "raspistill" and "raspivid" commands. See official Raspberry Pi documentation for more details.

Great Camera for Octopi
Out of the box when set up with Octopi the picture is only 480p and pretty bad. Once I learned to SSH into the Pi and modify the Octopi.txt file the picture is amazing. IR is also quite good.

I cannot seem to make it work with picamera2
Previously:Hello. I read several reviews about this camera and some of them say that it is plug and play.I have tried many things to make it work with picamera2 library/module and it has not worked yet.Are there some drivers or am I am missing something obvious or not? Now:The camera seems to be working. The wide angle is a pro, but the quality seems to be really low indoors. I have no idea if I am going to be able to use this on a project that needs to record on further distances.

Awesome little camera for low light situations
Very nice camera. Image quality is fantastic, and it can do 1080p. I have this setup for use on my 3D printer using Octopi. Works wonderfully!

Works great and high resolution
I am using raspbian on raspberry pi 3B+ I had to change the memory split to 256 to get the camera work.

Plug and play camera that works with octoprint
I bought this to remotely manage my 3d prints and while it does a pretty good job, it has some gotchas. For pros, it is plug and play so you dont need to mess with any octoprint settings other than enabling the camera for it to show up and its got an absolute bunch of mounting solutions for 3d printers. For cons, the image is perpetually tinted pink/purple because of the lack of IR filter. I'd have liked if there was better whitebalancing to filter out the purple.
