Works exactly as it says! So we have been bothered a lot with slaters and huge spiders and had been looking at these before. Tried sprays, salts etc. etc. with no effect. Plugged these in the day they arrived and knew it would take a few weeks to possibly work! Hubby said another waste of money! Well let me tell you, they have certainly proved us all wrong. We haven’t had one slater, spider or any other bugs since the first day. I have one in kitchen, living room and in the upstairs bedrooms. The night light is brilliant as it’s dim enough to not stop me from sleeping but bright enough to show the way.These have truly been one of my best purchases this year. Highly recommended these and a huge bonus is there are 4 in a pack.

Brought it to prevent flies and insects getting into flat through windows. So far it's been working ok. They do all have blue night light built in and cannot be switched off, but I usually only turn them on when the windows are open, which is during daytime so it's ok.

Just plug in and GO! Have one in the living room, the kitchen and the bedroom. We now have no flies, wasps, etc when the doors or windows are open, as they either clear off out again, or succumb to "the vibes". (Takes a while, but the product is quite compact.) I've seen this sort of item previously, but on a much larger scale. The butcher's always had one up on the wall to kill off the bluebottles and that's a huge great thing with a long blue light in it. These have that same blue light, but much smaller of course. I must say, I absolutely love them and feel that for me, they're worth every penny. Incidentally, I did purchase initially in the hopes they'd maybe see off any fleas (I have 2 cats). They don't, or they might and I don't know about it. Bought a couple of sticky flea traps instead and they've done the job perfectly. But so glad I got these because I enjoy being fly-free.

I had a little mouse problem and a big spider problem (big as in the size of spiders). My house is all wood the shelves and all the furniture is natural wood so it attracts spiders, but the main reason I brought this was to try and get rid of the mice. It was plugged in for about a week and I got an ear infection, then my husbands left ear started to actually run with discharge and blood. We both took antibiotics. He has a referral now for ent but my ears were giving me alot of pain. I am a nurse and am able to ask the dr's I work with to have a look periodically and my tympanic membrane was very red and swollen. It was really irritated. This was going on for around 4 weeks in the end I took the plugs out. In a few days our ears cleared up. Mine is in no pain at all now and no irritation. My husband's ears have also cleared up. The cause of our problems were definitely the plug ins and would definitely not recommend!!!Also they never stopped the little clever mouse which has since been removed.

Intentions clear - to deter and get rid of mosquitoes especially. This product is too fragile , often requiring a very hard shove to fit a plug, often not inserting at all. It is also unconvincing in that most domestic plugs are a few centimetres from the floor and not as high as the instructions require ( 80 -120cm ).Potentially good but cheapskate.And does seem not to work at all.

Bought for someone else but realised they have small rodent pets so kept item myself to see if it deters insects and flies.Can't really give this a true review as only been a few weeks but I still have flies coming in on few hot days we have had.Maybe I'll update later to allow more time together fairD

Since using these I haven't seen one rodent and it's been about 6 months. Could be coincidence . Got one plugged in every downstairs rooms including passage

Been having trouble with pest insects in my flat for a while finding them in my cats food and water dishes. Have seen a decline since using these repellants and hopefully be gone completely soon.
