False advertisement!
Only reason I gave one star is because I had to give it something.Very disappointed. After reading several reviews that ensured it would fit my Scion TC, after receiving the part, I found out it doesn’t fit at all. What a waste of time and money. If it doesn’t fit, you shouldn’t advertise it. Now I have to return and shop elsewhere. Angry to say the least!

Easy to install and work great
My trunk had an old pair (probably the original since it looked like the bolt had never been removed before) and worn out, meaning the trunk wouldn’t stay open and would shut if my hand wasn’t keeping it up. This didn’t bother me until it almost caused an accident. Using a stick to jam next to the old ones wasn’t working so I bought these. As I mentioned before it’s highly likely that they had never been replaced due to how difficult it was to remove the old pieces so it took a bit longer than I expected. But these worked way better than I was expecting. After installation my trunk swung up that it made my car lift up for a second. So now instead of using my hand to keep my trunk from shutting too hard I use my hand to keep my trunk from swinging up too hard.

Bought it for my son's 2007 Scion TC
The ones in my son had lost hydraulic power so needed a new one because we got tried of holding up the trunk. It was a super easy install for my 17 year old and he's quite happy. You don't realize how much repairing this little thing helps.

Stopped working 1 month after install
Product delivered nicely but stopped working after 1 month, 2 months later I can’t even open my trunk forcefully now. Will post video showing I can’t even use my trunk now. Now I have to spend even more money to buy another set, probably from another seller

Works Great!
Very happy with how this product turned out. It works wonderfully on my 2006 Scion tC. It was easy to install and seems to be of great quality. Now I don't have to keep one hand on my hatchback to prevent it from falling!

Remove small bottom bracket to install first and secure back on before securing top pivot ball.
These worked out great. Had to remove the inside bracket on each side, 2 small bolts, to secure to pivot ball. But it lifts easier and higher than before.

Left strut snapped
These worked great (for about three months) For some reason, the left strut snapped while I was opening the hatch and they are now completely worthless. Not sure if it was a manufacturing defect, since I installed everything properly.

Works as intended.
Works as intended. Should unscrew the bolts at the base of where you attach the struts to make attaching it easier.Replacing the trunk struts may require having two people if you aren't creative enough to find a way to keep the trunk open. A nice wooden plank that is long enough to keep the trunk fully extended should do the trick.
