Have been order these Lithonia emergency lights for some time ,super fast shipping , excellent lighting.

The light is very bright and easy to install. I've installed 6 of these emergency lights on our college campus. Every one needed a battery replacement within the first 2 years. I had to replace 2 batteries within the first year. The minimum life cycle for a NiCad battery is about 4 years with some lasting up to 15 years so 2 years is way below the industry standard. Availability of replacement batteries is another issue. I could only find one vendor online and they wanted nearly $50. It's not cost effective to spend $50 every 2 years to service this light.

These are a bit weak for a light that could be mounted higher according to the manufacturer. Not much better than cheaper units that cost far less. However, the lights are more focused, so that helps. Mounted these in an open auditorium only 8 feet up and they barely light the egress area. Would recommend for much smaller area than advertised.

This unit replaced older emergency lights that no longer have parts availability. Works as advertised...

So luckily this arrived the next day like it said it would!So installation was easy, the mounting bracket has plenty of holes for mounting. You do have to drill out the ones you want.After I mounted it, the battery had enough charge to test multiple times. The LED's are bright and the lenses are easy to move around.

These newer LED and nickel cadmium lights are lighter and last longer than the older incandescent and SLA units.

Great light output and runtime.

Used this to replace an incandescent Lithonia unit. It is much brighter while being smaller and lighter. Only 4 stars because it may actually be too small -there is little room inside the unit to hold wire connections.
