Nature's Bounty L-Lysine, 1000mg, 180 Tablets (3 x 60 Count Bottles)

A physician alerted me to his successful treatment of early Alzheimer's Disease with this product. My mother-in-law has this condition and my wife is at risk for it. Both are now taking 1000mg twice daily and the effect in my mother-in-law is quite remarkable. I do not know the mechanism and it is not approved for this condition but this physician swears by it and I am very happy that this seems to make my mother-in-law more interactive with no side effects. There is something called the Bredeson Protocol and I am wondering if this is part of that protocol.

L-Lysine Is essential amino acid... It’s good for the. stopping of fever blisters, herpes Symplex and the like.Take one Gram per day is you are sensitive to the sun or inclement weather.If your lips blister easily or if you get fever blisters frequently or you have herpes Simplex.At the first sign of an episode, that is if your lips start to itch, take 3 g per day and the blister will not be able to blister.I have noticed no side affects taking 3 grams per day.

Whenever I put the L-Lysine vitamins in my weekly pill case they are the only ones to crumble. My other vitamins aren’t crumbling like the L-Lysine and the pill case that I use is new and specifically keeps out humidity. The problem has to be with the vitamin itself since the case is secure and the other vitamins aren’t crumbling/having any issues. I’m very dissatisfied with this product.

My aunt got me started on these because they are supposed to help me not break out in shingles. I will say they seem to work for that. If i start to feel a shingle out break coming i start taking these and the feeling goes away. The only complaint i have with these are they are a big pill.

I take this supplement daily to deal with canker sores. It has completely done away with my frequent breakouts. I’ve tried other brands and took one that was entirely ineffective. I am now using Nature’s Bounty brand daily and haven’t had another canker sore since the change.
