Just the right amount
I feel like this book has just the right amount of handwriting practice. It is thorough enough to teach handwriting, but not so lengthy that it takes forever or leaves your child frustrated.

Recommended by our Occupational Therapist.
My kiddo has disliked (strongly) handwriting from day 1. We have worked with him on improving his skills but it takes a tremendous amount of effort for him to produce neat writing so he really does not enjoy the part of school that requires this. He seems to slightly dislike cursive a little less so our Occupational Therapist recommended this book. It has simple practice exercises that are easy to follow and when incentivized my guy will work through a page or two and help reinforce his cursive!

I like it
I got this for my 2nd grade child going to 3rd grade. She wanted to learn how to write in cursive. I was happy because the public school don't teach that in school anymore. She has been working in the book all summer and she loves it. She loves it learn new things all the time.

Good fit
I was nervious this maybe to hard for my mid-year 1st grader (6 year old/homeschooler) but it worked out very well. It's now the end of our school year and its mostly complete. We did the print book before this and skipped what is used for 2nd grade as we didn't need a print review. This is cursive begining to end. There was one letter I had her form differently than in the book.

perfect book to teach cursive
I bought this for my 8 year old son to learn cursive since they are not teaching it in school anymore. It is really good! It shows how to form the letters step by step and puts letters in order based on how they are formed.

Works well for 8 years old boy
Using with second grade boy. It is simple script that is easy for him to learn...not a lot of loops and frills to complicate things. The only thing I don't like is the way the lower case r is made. But it is easy to show him a better way to form it. Everything else is great and he is progressing easily with this program. Basic, gets the job done and inexpensive.

Helps Adults too
I purchased this book for my daughter. She was in the group of students who were not taught cursive writing in school. She has completed the book and is very excited about using her new skill. Thank you
