Pentalic 3" x 4" Pocket Sketchbook Traveler Journal, 160 Pages, Royal Blue

It's the most adorable super itsy bitsy teensy weensy fits in woman's jeans back pockets size.. yes that small. But plenty of decent quality paper in it still! The cover is a nice soft cover and I do love this little sketchbook quite a bit. I do wish it could open to lay flat or even close, as it's hard to do much sketching inside its small little pages without opening fully-wide. But for the price and convenience of its portability and decent both quality and quantity of sheets its been super nice to have for my business especially as I can draw out ideas and write out random things that come to mind basically anywhere due to its size. Love it! Definitely want to get the larger one now too. Just wish it was a harder cover, tighter band/closure strap, and opened flat or just wider. And a navy blue color would just be icing on the cake ;)

TLDR: Excellent smooth paper, truly a pocket sketchbook, stiff softcover, binding doesn't lay flat without a LOT of work. Very durable. Joy to use.I bought this thinking I was buying the 4x6 version, but boy what a happy accident! The paper is smooth, and perfect for ink drawings using either technical pens (Microns or Isographs) or fountain / brush / dip pens. No ghosting unless you use a heavy ink hand. A bit like a thinner Bristol paper.The cover is kind of a hard softcover. It's very similar to a Stillman & Birn cover, and a bit stiffer than a Moleskine softcover. It breaks it quite well with use, and it feels lovely almost leather-like - much less textured than a Moleskine.My only complaint is that the book doesn't really lay flat easily. It's my biggest gripe with all the Pentalic sketchbooks; that spine is hard to break in.This thing is bonkers tiny, and really excellent for making thumbnail sketches or for getting a composition worked out without feeling like you're wasting a bunch of space.

I like the quality of this paper. The size of this book is perfect for carrying in your pocket to do a quick sketch here and there. Not sure if it can handle light washes of color or not. Maybe if it's super light?Anyway, I liked this one so much that I bought another one or two.Update: Yeah, I just did a few washes on ink on one page and the other side was fine. Just be sure that you let each layer dry first.

It’s smaller than I thought. It doesn’t lay completely flat.

This is a cute little sketch book. Seems to be well put together. My only complaint is that it is very small. I still gave it 5 stars as I realize that if I had been paying better attention to the description I could have figured out what size it was. I suppose it would be good for carrying in your pocket or purse.

I love this tiny sketchbook. Of all the things I carry in my purse on a daily basis, this has become my favorite. The size is perfect for little sketches, lists, or a few sentences of journaling. I carry this and a sharp, stubby HB pencil into places I'd never take a cell phone and use it to capture both meaningful and mundane experiences.This is a quality product, and I will absolutely purchase it again.

I don't like this size is too small, so I rather a little bigger will be easier for me to draw this.

This is a great little pocket notebook! It definitely is high quality and durable. Great for keeping little notes, reminders, phone numbers, lists, etc. I use it to keep all my passwords and logins for different websites. Has a little pocket in the back and a ribbon page marker. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Esperaba que fuera más grande. Las medidas son 10.5 x 7.3 cm. Obviamente la culpa fue mia porque claramente específica el tamaño y yo esperaba que fuera más grande.En cuanto a calidad, ni que decir. El gramaje es muy bueno y el acabado liso es maravilloso. La cubierta no es dura, pero tiene un acabado en tipo piel. Perfecta para dibujar fuera.De la advertencia del DBP, no hay de que preocuparse. No hay riesgo por contacto, solo por ingesta y en cantidades mayores a las que pudiera tener la portada.
