I've used these things before and struggled but I genuinely found these easy to use. I sprinkled them with cornflour and made sure they were not overfilled and well pressed in. The shapes came straight out with the right flexing of the mold. Obviously this is harder on the tiny creatures but I did manage. With the mermaid tails, just free the tail end first so you have dealt with the thinnest part and the rest will pretty much come out by itself.Really can't fault it and it made a fabulous mermaid cake with minimal effort!

I'm making my daughter a mermaid/under the sea themed cake so order this pack. The mermaid tails are fab but the other two moulds are alot smaller than they look. The seahorse will be the size of my thumb nail lol. However they were the same price as what it would have cost me to order just the tails so nothing really lost.Not used them yet as her birthday isn't until Nov but they seem the same quality and material as other ones I've used so dont see me having and issue

Arrived today and very disappointed, absolutely tiny and no use. Have not tried to use as i will be returning but imagine it would be very difficult If not impossible to remove the sea creatures and shells from the mould (the entire mould fits in the palm of my hand!) The mermaid tails are slightly bigger but wanted a big one for a cake topper and smaller ones for the cupcakes but niether are big enough to look proportionate on a 7inch cake. Would not recommend.

I used two of these moulds for my daughters birthday cake. The shells and mermaid tails are easy to use with both fondant and chocolate. I didn't attempt the seahorses etc as the scale was wrong for my need. I thought that the tails might break at the thinnest part but they proved to be quite robust and the ones made from chocolate were strong enough to stand on top of the cake. I will definitely use them again as they were so quick and easy and look very effective.

Really liked this, it is fiddly to use but once you get the hang of it it's fine. Make sure to sprinkle it with cornflour so your shells don't stick. I used this for a small cake and cupcakes which worked really well but I'm not sure i'd use it for a larger cake as the shells are super small. The mermaids tails are good sizes though.

Loved the mermaid tails, a little flimsy at the tail join but ok.The rest of the moulds, are so very tiny. They come out fine and are really easy to use but ideally I would have preferred them to be a little larger. Found the photos a little deceptive.For the price though, worth the money.

I made a very beautiful cake with these molds.

Make sure you line the mould with icing sugar as roll out icing is sticky and gets stuck. The looks was great but the smaller moulds are too small to use for icing might work better with chocolate but would need alot of prep time
