KohinoorPindi Chana Aloo, 300 g, Pack of 6

I like these for lunch with a rice packet, great value and reasonably nutritious. They are not too spicy, but very flavourful. The only bad part is that the potato has a mushy consistency, a bit like potato you'd get in canned soup and that the sauce is quite salty.

The taste is spicy yet bland. It's not Pindi Chana but regular Chana masala with a very odd taste. Avoid.

Unpleasant flavours of raw spices are dominant.Sorry.

Whilst I rave about other Kohinoor products, this one is very disappointing indeed. Contents nothing like advertisement. Major component is the gravy, with large chana and potato pieces floating in it. Not making the mistake of buying this one again - have cancelled my regular order.

I got delivery today but product already expired on 12/2021.

These Kohinoor foods have good strong flavours. Portions are generous. Preparing a meal made easy and quick!

Unlike tarka dal and dal makhani, the quality is inferior. I wouldn't recommend buying this.

Lacking flavour and substance. The sauce is a bit on the watery side, the chickpeas quite mushy, and the potatoes completely anonymous. Might be ok if you heat on the hob adding a squirt of ketchup and some hot curry powder. I won't be buying again
