Well I had this book for 5 years and never read it but I'm on a TBR reducing challenge so I picked it up. This was like any other YA fantasy books based on Fae. It read like a contemporary romance novel with a little fantasy elements scattered through. I liked the plot but the main character Wendy infuriated me a lot because all she could talk about was how hot the love interest is. That was the only thing that had her attention for 90% of the book. Hoping the next book in this trilogy will have something else other than teenage romance and crushes.

First of all, I haven't bought the book from Amazon. I'd just borrowed it from a library but it was such an amazing book that I felt the need to give a good review about it so that people would read this. The story line was fascinating and the summary written about it behind just doesn't do it justice. I'll say I'd read it again which is a complement in itself because I dislike reading the same book twice. Some storybooks are found to be amazing, but not all of them make sense. The books in these series compel one to believe that these things could be true. Not all books have the ability to do that.SPOILER ALERT: After I had finished reading the series, I'd actually tried to make objects move by looking at them (literally speaking)like Tove or Wendy could.
