Well made paper roller for quilling
I like the way that I use this item to roll my paper and it rolls it very easily and in such uniform that you can shape the paper very nicely. And it saves time and it very good for someone who has arthritis. There is no pressure on your fingers or your hand. The price is just right for this item.

Might be good for winding string, but forget using it for paper
This was the hardest top to take off I've ever tried. Lots of others tried to help me, and after about 10 people tried, one really strong person finally popped it off. I wanted to use this tool to quill cardstock for Cricut cut flowers. Well, the first try was a mess. The thing was twirling around and had a hold of the cardstock but I hadn't figured out how to control it yet, so ZING! I got a flying piece of paper fan that was on a fast track to no one. Try #2 was a little better, I pushed the little "go" button intermittently and was better able to wind the paper around the little stem but I felt a strange sensation in my thumb (holding the button down) and realized I was being burned! The paper had quit winding around the stem, it wasn't moving at all but the machine was HOT HOT HOT. I just sat it down before it exploded or something. Anyway, I tried it again after it cooled down and it was the same story...just bogged down with the cardstock. Useless for my needs. I think this would be ok for string, yarn or ribbon maybe, but wanting it for quilling cardstock paper flowers does not work. The little motor is too weak, I would say, for use with cardstock, and the quilling area is too small, maybe if it was more sturdy and had a better motor for the twisting. So, darn, I will return this, and in the meantime go back to twisting my flowers by hand. I was hopeful, but this is a "thumbs down, Dawg."

Great idea, not great execution
This seemed like a brilliant time saver. I have a lot of trouble making anything except a tight coil with it though. It's just not practical to make a variety of shapes which is essential to making anything reasonably cool with quilling

Roll flowers with ease
I am a big paper flower crafter and this made my life 1000x better!! My hands used to cramp so bad after rolling the first couple flowers. I just did an entire project in a quarter of the time and no cramped hands !! I say it’s a win!

Fun and Handy Tool
So I purchased this based on being able to control the speed. Well, there is no speed control! It just zips at a really fast pace. That being said, I do enjoy using it and am learning to control the tension a little bit. But beware, I got a finger cut because the quil paper was moving so fast.

If you like quilling this little tool works great and definitely saves you a bunch of time. It speeds up your time. I wished that I had bought it way before I did. But great little tool. Very handy.
