Installation: Surprisingly Straightforward One of my initial concerns was the installation process, given that it involves mounting heavy objects securely to a wall. However, the rack came with clear, concise instructions and all the necessary hardware (though I opted for my own heavy-duty lag screws for extra peace of mind, as is often recommended for such applications). Locating studs was the most time-consuming part, but once that was done, attaching the brackets and assembling the rack was surprisingly straightforward. With a drill, a level, and a socket wrench, I had it securely in place within an hour. The pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly, and the design made it easy to get a tight, stable fit. Design & Build Quality: Robust and Reliable The rack itself is constructed from heavy-gauge steel, which immediately instills confidence in its ability to hold a substantial amount of weight. The powder-coated finish not only looks clean and professional but also provides excellent resistance against rust and corrosion, which is important in a garage environment where moisture can be an issue. These helped me gain back so much floor space. They are easily adjustable and even at full extension don't sag. The quality is good, even fully loaded with wheels and tires, I don't worry for a second about the the rack falling. Install is easy if you can put an anchor exactly where you want it, the holes in the mount don't move, so if the anchors don't line up, it's not the racks fault. I have 2 and they work perfectly.

A car guy “must have”.

Great tire rack with a few improvements!!!! If the bending of the loose tubes bothers you, there is a bushing kit available. Without them the tires lean in and it makes the whole rack push out. It really should be included

Easy to install. Very robust. I use this for 4 off-road wheels that are 70 lb each. Installed in 45 minutes. Doesn’t move at all while loading and unloading.

I bought this to store my spare wheels since I live in an apartment and need to park in the garage. I needed them off the floor and out of the way, and this rack worked perfectly for the price. I mounted mine a bit higher to maximize space since I will not be using these wheels. To make sure it was level, I used a piece of painters tape to mark the height from the first bracket and matched it on the second side. I only had a small level, but after bolting everything in, it came out perfectly level. That approach worked well for me. My wheels are 18 by 9.5 inches and the support tubes ended up about 50 inches apart. The wood studs are holding the weight with no issues, and the rack feels solid and secure. The install took me about 30 minutes. Mounting was straightforward and my garage floor is now cleared up. Gaining that extra storage capacity made a noticeable difference. This rack does exactly what it is supposed to do.
