Does the trick!
This box works exactly as you would expect. There isn't much to say about a battery box other than it's secure and the lid snaps on nicely. The template provided for the strap brackets was not accurate but that was an easy fix on my install -- make sure you measure if installing on a boat or something where drilling holes is a factor. The strap took me longer to figure out than I'd care to admit but is well designed and easy to use once you figure it out.

Good Battery Box
The media could not be loaded. Got this for my 12FT jon boat & it fits it well & mounts easily. Like all the stuff it came with as well. Keeps water out pretty well & easy to run wires through & drill if you need. You can even use this for a camper, rv, & whatever you would need it for. Very lightweight. Looks & feels high quality!

Appears it would work well
I ordered this to hold a battery for a new electric gate. It appears it was not necessary, but I am sure it would have worked fine. The item has been kept and packed away for use at another time.
