NOCO HM408 4D Commercial-Grade Battery Box

I'm replacing the 6v golf cart batteries on my camping trailer with 2 x 12v LiTime LiFePO4 smart batteries. These are just a bit larger than Group 24 or 27 batteries, so it's hard to find either a single or double battery box to fit them. I wasn't sure this would fit either, but since Amazon's return policy is great, I took a chance, thinking I might need to stand the batteries on end to fit them in. Upon arrival, the batteries fit perfectly end-to-end with a couple of small foam spacers to keep them from sliding around. What's more, the case is also wide enough that I can move the shunt from my battery monitor from it's separate box into the main battery case. This simplifies my setup a lot and removes excess clutter from the front of the trailer. Boxes look very robust, lid screws on securely, no ugly battery box straps to deal with, and I think I'll be very pleased with the purchase.

Upgraded lead acid batteries on camper to one large lifepo4 battery. This was the perfect solution. Very solid construction but a bit on the pricey side. Top quality.

The box is thick and robust. Whatever you put in it will be well protected. I bought mine to hold my 200amp lithium battery on the front of my travel trailer. It's a tight fit but will work. The only negative is it lacks a simple way to lock the lid. But I won't subtract a star for that.

Strong box with well securing hand screw top. RV battery fits well and secure. Waterproof and spill proof. You get what you pay for. Good product.

Pretty nice box. I used it to mount a 300Ah LiFePo4 on my camper. There was enough room on top to fit a connection board with terminal block, battery monitor, fuses, etc. I cut a hole in the side for an Anderson connector mount. Tight fit, but that makes it a bit more of a hassle to steal.

Very expensive and low quality for what it is. Not very sturdy. Just your average molded plastic about 3mm thick. The bolt down points are not enclosed but open on the corners and are the same soft plastic as the rest. Very odd way to try and secure something. I ended up bolting through the bottom. I doubt the lid would survive a rollover with a 60lb battery flopping around, so I further secured it with a rachet strap. If I had it to do over again, I think I would have just built an enclosure out of plywood and studs. Not very thick, not particularly functional, appearance is meh.

It is definitely capable of doing what a battery box needs to do. Very well built!

I had to upgrade my super small battery box for my camper with this one so that I could use my newly upgraded large battery. This battery box is very durable and strong, the walls are thick and the product is solid. It has a nice appearance with my camper, and it fits well.

Seems a very good product.solid and easy to install. Not waterproof as it comes, but fine for my purposes. Looks like good value.

It does its job well enough, but the gaskets it comes with to ‘seal’ the lid are awful. They are plastic (instead of rubber or silicone), and disintegrate within a year.

You get what you pay for sometimes more and sometimes less. In this instance poor noco plastic box - unstable plastic continues to cure or shrink resulting in non parallel side panels and smaller openings than officially advertised etc. Over priced - not pleased with this Noco product. Ultra thin. disappointment - should have returned the junk but made the mistake of giving it a chance.
