LINKUP - Internal 16G U.2 Cable (85Ω 85ohm PCIe Gen 4 Mini SAS HD to U.2/SFF-8643 to SFF-8639 Cable) with SATA Power - 0.6 meters/2 feet

Was a little concerned at running anything over .5m as needed to connect a PCIE switch to host machine via 2 x 8654 8i connections. Very happy to say this cable provides a perfect stable connection with no acs errors or similar. Please note, the connection between host and device is via a dedicated Retimer rather than a redriver or simple PCIE extension card. Cannot speak to how it performs on untrained and unmanaged links.TLDR - cable great with correct and capable hardware. if having issues look at how pcie signal is being sent and address via retimer or redriver if needed

My server does not natively have a u.3 Backplane for NVME drives, but this does the job nicely!

It just works

I used this for an older U.2 port on my motherboard to convert to PCI-E M.2. It's a very well made cable, solid connectors, the cable is well braided and also flexible to route. I paired it with an Icey Box 2.5'' enclosure and Sabrent Rocket NvMe. Just plug into the U.2, plug the M.2 into the Icey Box, then the SATA power into a spare SATA socket. Job done.

Have a U2 enterprise drive attached to my X570 motherboard (Asus x570 WS Ace). A solid cable, top build quality and nice thick wires. No issues whatsoever.

Does not work with the GPD G1.

Bought this because I didn't have a clue how long I needed the cable to be - having no experience with enterprise class SSDs with a "U.2" connector. Most cables appeared to be under 1foot; and my case is a old Mountain Mods UFO case so I was concerned that a 1foot case wasn't going to be long enough. Turns out the a 1ft would have probably worked just fine given the U2 connector is nearly right next to the 5.25" bay on this case.Anyway; This worked right out of the bag... and was super simple to use. Defiantly recommended for anyone needing extra length for cable management.

Conector de la placa U.2 a la caja SFF-8639 SSD que tambien he comprado, necesario para que funcione. Misma velocidad que un SSD M.2, pero no tenia mas entradas de M.2 y tuve que utilizar un bus U.2,para el M.2, los discos duros U.2 son muy caros.
