This product is probably one of the most important products we’ve bought. We eat lots of salsa and using this to scoop it into a smaller sized bowl is amazing. I’ve also found it great to use when trying to transfer garlic into smaller containers, or need a spoon for containers that my hand holding a spoon can’t fit into. Super easy to use, great quality for the price and super sturdy!

Perfect I needed it to dip out my homemade vanilla. It’s in a rather large jug and this works perfect.

I ordered this Restaurantware 1 Ounce Serving Ladle mostly for when I cook. Instead of using more butter or EVOO with a lot of calories to sauté vegetables, I will sometimes add leftover broth, if I have a box I previously opened for another recipe. If I have no broth available, my alternative is to use garlic juice right out of a giant jar of minced garlic I bought from Costco. Yes, I know jarred, minced garlic is not as good as fresh, but it's a whole lot more convenient and less messy for me to prep when I am in a hurry and don’t have a lot of time. Back to the juice: this Restaurantware ladle fits right into the garlic jar so that I can easily pour the juice into my sauteing vegetables, little by little so they don't burn. If I am running out of garlic juice because I've dipped into it so many times, I will just add more water to the jar and stir it with a long spoon or thin spatula so I will have more available when I need some the next time. You could probably fit this ladle in a Mason jar to spoon out whatever. Homemade dressing or gravy could be served with this ladle, too. I think it's the perfect size that fits my own needs.

Perfect when you need smaller ladle vs standard size

When I make soup or stew, I often want to taste it before it's done. I dip out a representative sample using this little ladle, pour it into a custard cup to cool for a minute, then sip from the custard cup. Easy - no burned fingers, and no germs going into the soup pot. It cleans up great in the dishwasher, upside down in the silverware tray. I have two this size.

This is a cute little ladle. Fits nicely in my meal mug (larger ones don't) to transfer water between the small hot pot and the mug. The fact that is is plastic rather than metal makes it usable with ceramic cookware.

This should last a lifetime, nice thick and sturdy, but it’s not pretty.

perfect for dipping if your hands shake

I was trying to find a small ladle-like spoon that holds around a tablespoon full. This works. Would be good if the top of the handle was curved so it could be hung.

This is an awesome little ladle! When serving gravy, I placed this ladle in the gravy boat, it fit and is very useful. It's small and compact, and very useful. I love it!
