Screen Replacement Black for iPhone 8 Plus (5.5 Inch Black), 3D Touch LCD Screen Digitizer Replacement Frame Display Assembly Set with Repair Tool Kit

I decided to purchase this screen replacement after having my iPhone 8+ screen cracked for a while. At first, I was hesitant to buy it but since the screen replacement from Apple would cost over $168 I decided to take a chance and try it out anyway. All the necessary tools and the screen alongside the glass screen protector were packaged neatly in the box. The only other thing I needed was a hairdryer to heat up the old screen so it can loosen up and I could easily remove it. I followed a YouTube video guide on how to do the screen replacement at home and it took me roughly 45 mins to an hour (after some struggle with the screws inside of my phone). After I connected the necessary cables to the new screen I turned my phone on to test out the display and when everything was working well I just simply lightly pressed the screen in and put the screws back in and I was done. I'm super happy with this purchase because now my screen looks nice and smooth again, the screen works perfectly and I can still use 3D touch which I think is amazing! This screen replacement definitely surprised me as its almost as good as a standard Apple screen. I think its definitely worth the money

*UPDATE* Seller sent the replacement ASAP without any questions, as expected the original screen replacement was faulty. The new one works flawlessly and no complaints here, would definitely order again for the price, quality, and customer service.Received item and everything was a go up until 10 min after power up the screen wanted to start ghosting on me. Item is as described but I narrowed it down to the ribbon cable being defective or compromised. Sometimes the backplate that goes over the ribbons and cause this ghosting issue but tried every fix I know and still would not solve the issue. I wanted to leave a one star but the seller has been excellent and on point in getting me a replacement free of charge without any return and exchanging needed.WILL UPDATE WITH NEW REPLACEMENT INSTALLED, Stay tuned (this review is for those that actually read reviews and not just look at the stars).Cheers.Cheers again.

Given that I have 3 sons...I have replaced literally dozens of broken screens over the years on various IPHONES. So, I make this review given a lot of experience with replacement screens.The screen replacement went smoothly, and the build quality of the screen appeared fine.Once the entire replacement was done I began to fit the screen back into the phone body (only two screws left and done!)---at this point I realized that the replacement screen has a formed plastic ridge across the top (the speaker end of the phone). This 'ridge' prevents the screen from fully sitting in the phone body . This ridge is absent in the original. This design flaw with the ridge prevents you from being able to 'close up your phone properly.I would have sent it back--but I had ordered this screen fix my phone before a business trip and didnt have time to deal with it now.I had decided to deal with the bad screen issue after I returned from the business trip--so I put in a protective case. As I did this it cracked this new screen.Totally frustrated and dissatisfied.Wasted a lot of time with this product.You would think they would make the replacement identical ---but they didnt.Again-- do not waste your time and money on this product.

So unfortunately we have used these product a few times and mainly because of our fault. Had never broken a screen until this year with my iPhone 8 Plus and since we didn’t have a strong phone case we ended up breaking it again. After the 2nd break we once again ordered this screen replacement and secured it with a strong case. The screen replacement is great and can’t believe how affordable it was. Sure your question and doubt is about the installation, we just followed along with a few YouTube videos and got the job done. Will take you about an hour the first time to dissemble and then reassemble. The second time is was obviously a bit quicker. Don’t be scared and go for it, it’s like legos for adults even though we never played with LEGO’s growing up.

It was a bit of a pain to replace since you have to break through the waterproof seal, had to use a small flat head screwdriver to pry it off (the suction cup is useless). Screen works alright once installed the color is slightly off and the touch is a little finicky (it has trouble detecting a drag from a tap leading to many accidental instagram likes) but it’s useable and for the price it saves me from having to buy a new hopefully for at least another year or two.

So I replaced screen on my phone however the screen has a very yellow tint to it now. I am hoping the seller contacts me to get this fixed. I checked the cables and everything is fine, I think I just received a defective product

I have been fixing the phones for quite a while now.This is the first time i managed to fix a screen without having a dark corner on the screen!And let me reassure you, it is not down to me but the quality of the new replacement screen.The screen itselve came in a nice case with a screen protector and all the tools needede in the case.This is the best price on the market i have seen so far too!! I definitely recommend this.

Got this for my husband since he always is breaking his screens. Feels a l ot more heavier then the old screen I got for him which is nice it’s better quality. Super easy to install since I’ve been doing it for a couple years. Only thing that didn’t work is his home button now but that’s normal with the newer iPhones.
