Why did you choose this product over others?: I've been using the Wet Brush for several years now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best hair tools I’ve ever had. Designed specifically for detangling wet hair, this brush glides through knots with minimal pulling, breakage, or pain—something I never thought possible. The bristles are soft, flexible, and uniquely spaced, allowing them to bend around tangles instead of ripping through them. It’s gentle enough for all hair types, including fine, curly, or fragile hair. I personally have thick, wavy hair that tangles easily after a shower, and the Wet Brush has made detangling a much faster and less frustrating process. I like that it comes in a variety of colors. This is my third one. (One I've been using for a long time, the second I lost on my last holiday.) Only one thing I wanted to mention: Bristles can wear down over time (especially if I use hot air for blow drying) I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle, efficient way to manage their hair.

I've found that this brush is large and sturdy enough to comfortably detangle even very long, very thick hair. Mine has been mid-back (now cut to shoulder length), is fine-medium texture and dense (i.e. I have quite a lot of it on my head). I also have bleach-damaged waves. A friend with hip-length, fine, dense, mostly-straight hair with no damage was looking for a brush that would actually get through all their hair when they brush conditioner through it and I bought them one of these. They are *delighted* by it and consider it something of a miracle brush! So, now I'm done raving, some technical points: When I've tried this kind of bobble-topped-metal-bristle brush in the past, as a child, I've had trouble with bobbles not being well attached and my hair getting caught. Also the bobbles tend to come off quickly and I end up scratching my head with the un-tipped metal. I've had my wet brush pro for a year now, and neither problem has come up. I do only use it to detangle in the shower with conditioner, so it may be that brushing while dry might cause some catching, but my friend also brushes their hair dry occasionally and I haven't heard they've had that problem despite how fine their strands are, and prone to catching on things. The little bit of extra money compared to the cheaper copies of this style seems to all go into quality. (You can buy the not-pro version for about the same price as a standard brush in Boots, but this one is one is a little bigger and better at getting through thick hair). I do experience some breakage but my hair has been *extremely* bleached and I can't afford to use bond-builders like olaplex all the time, so my hair breaks sometimes even when I gently finger-detangle. The tension applied via this brush seems to be pretty good for detangling as long as you're using a good technique (brushing from the bottom, etc). I have used a tangle teezer in the past, and I do still love those brushes and keep a fine/fragile hair one for very gently dry detangling before a shower if I'm adding a pre-treatment on my hair, but if I had to pick just one brush to keep it would be the wet brush pro.

I absolutely love brushing my hair with this. These flexible bristles are wonderful. I lose a lot of hair when brushing but that’s more attributable to a chronic hair loss condition than this brush. I just wanted a brush that would not be too aggressive and make it feel like I’m ripping my hair out. Brushing the hair feels super satisfying with this. I particularly prefer this version of the wet brush as it is not a shiny surface and looks more classy. The only fault for me is that it does get dirty super easily and it is one of the hardest brushes to clean that I have ever dealt with. If you don’t clean it frequently it will get to a point where it is impossible to clean and you might as well get a whole new brush, so keep that in mind.

Was a little skeptical after seeing damaged one's on reviews, also the tines are thin and very very flexible so I thought it might fall apart. After a few weeks of use and having cleaned it quite a few times I can say that it's amazing, I've used so many other brushes of similar design that break my hair but this is pretty effortless even with a load of product from the day before.

The only brush that detangles, effective, durable, good size, works really well

I purchased this brush almost 5 years ago now, and I have been using is everyday twice a day. Here's the pros and cons.(For reference I have long fine hair ,they reach the top of my buttocks) Pros: Just like almost every other review, this is an excellent brush to detangle your hair pain-free. It is definitely one of the best I have ever tried. It is easy to clean and remove hair from it. Cons: When used in the shower or when it is time to wash it , it does retain water, so you have to let it dry perhaps outside when there's warmth and sunlight. After all these years of daily use, the brush itself, looks great and it has not broken, however, the plastic/ rubber that its made of, has now started to break down, because the last few months it has become sticky/ tacky. Overall, I would give this item a 4/5 rating. If I were to purchase a brush from this brand again, I would most likely choose one that is made of a different material, definitely not rubber. Perhaps, hard plastic. That way, i'm hoping it will last longer than 5ish years.

... a more stylish design! Perfect for tangles, children, hair loss and more. I was really dubious about buying- there seems to be hundreds of brushes pledging the same thing. I have 3 auto immune conditions and because of 1 of them my hair falls out. I was searching for a brush to remove tangles with as little hair loss as possible and this is it. I even skipped a day to see how this brush would hold up (as I can be asleep for a whole day at a time). No pain, no pulling and tangle free. I was bothered the soft bristles would be code for “bend away and do nothing to brush hair” but it’s not the case. Unlike normal brushes it doesn’t get stuck and won’t move, nor will it bounce over. It gently gets the tangles out by stubbornly staying in the tangle without pulling or snapping off. Other than small things like a prettier design or a longer handle, this is THE perfect brush.

I knew about this brand yeaaaars ago, but for some reason never got round to trying it. My child has very thick curly hair, and knots and tangles are a nightmare so I decided to give Wet Brush a go. Oh my goodness. The hype is all true! Whether the hair is soaking wet and covered in conditioner, or totally dry, this brush glides through knots SO much easier than any brush I've had before. It moves so smoothly through the hair and barely pulls at all, unless it's on a big tangled knot, but even then it's way less than other brushes. I bought a couple of other colours as well, for myself and my other child, but the rubber grip on this one is awesome so I'll definitely buy one with the grip again in future. Definitely recommend these!

No quality issues with this. Super soft bristles. Almost no tugging at all and it feels great. Combs through long+wavy hair just fine, doesn't hurt the scalp. Overall, I am happy with this and would recommend it. Only downside is the handle length+thickness. I'm over 6 foot and I find it small, even compared to other brush handles. It's more suited to those under 5'6". So I guess it will be perfect for kids. It's super light, too.

I have a child with a VERY sensitive scalp. Letting me do her hair is a fight. We tried this brush after a recommendation from a friend. My daughter RARELY complains when I use this brush. Easily detangles and helps me get her hair all brushed out. It doesn't take me forever and I am going to buy more just in case we lose this one. New brush for every day of the week!
