Unsupported, with security defects
I’ve purchased seven of these from Amazon over the years. The hardware was fine but in 2020 Cisco stopped updating the firmware. Now, when exposed to the internet constant probing packets will result in a memory out condition causing the firewall to hang. This is well known in the user community and Cisco’s response is “too bad we don’t support this product anymore”. It’s an insulting and galling situation for a company which claims security as a key area. So these devices are trash. If they could be loaded with third party software they might be worth $25 at best. Otherwise avoid these like the plague. I’ve had to change out all my installed RV042 firewalls with an alternate at a fraction of the price with better performance.

the product already EOL. adtee used a while, the router will disconnected itself. it given me a very disappointed.
