Perfect mount for my IP security camera
This is exactly what I was looking for. I was going to settle for some kind of small tripod, but I'm glad that I held out and found the clamp that I wanted. I needed something to hold up a Foscam IP security camera so that it had a better vantage point. I was a little concerned that it might not be able to hold it, but it does a great job. I doubt it would be able to hold anything much heavier though.Pros:* Small size makes it easy to relocate* Easy to install* Very inexpensive, especially compared to some other tripod alternativesCons:* Not strong enough to hold anything heavier than a compact camera. I think I am pushing it with an IP security camera.* Large base of the camera that I'm using makes it hard to tighten screw to secure clamp.

Works wonderfully with my base stations
Easy to set up and sturdy. These work wonderfully with my Valve Base Stations.

Good, but don't expect high quality construction
The item works for what I need it for and the price is unbeatable at +/- $7.00. I'm using it to mount a small digital microscope on a tripod, so the weight it's carrying is very light. The product is on the flimsy side with an all plastic construction and the joints give a little even when it's fully tightened- like I said, not well built but acceptable at this price point. The item is very useful to have and I recommend it for general, light use applications.

Great for handle bars or motorcycle not rear view mirror
Doesn’t fit my rear view mirror. I have a 2016 dodge charger I had to use it on my visor or on my seat to get a good angle

Not to be Trusted!
This clamp broke out of the blue while holding a small friction arm and an action cam. No touch, just fell out of the blue. I had gone into a different room and came back to find my camera and the mount in pieces. The camera seems to have survived after its faceplate was reattached. The clamp is shot, not that I would trust it again. I liked the way this clamp tightened as it clipped on better than the clamps that just screw to tighten and might have recommended it. Now that I've seen how the plastic can fail, I wouldn't buy another clamp that has plastic parts. This could have been an expensive lesson, as previously, I had used it to hold a small but expensive Canon camera for top-down shots. Dodged a bullet. I have a second one of these clamps holding an LED studio light. Now I'm going to change it out for a more rugged clamp with metal parts instead of plastic. DO NOT TRUST THIS CLAMP with anything that could break if dropped.

Not stable enough
The clamp is strong but the other side is not suitable for a camera. Better used for a light.

I like the snap-down lock grip
The clamp works well, I like the snap-down lock grip, but the whole assembly is held together by a small wood screw imbedded in plastic with a spring tensioner. Plastic is nice for reduced weight, but this is a potential weak point.Great for really small lights and so forth, but do not trust it to support any weight with stability. If only they had a 1/4" thread in that area instead, then you could re-purpose the clamp.

Hopeless
There is absolutely no strength. Very cheap plastic. Not worth Rs.50/- also.

works well.
Nothing magical or amazing but it's well machined, and works as expected. Seems to grip well when fastened.
