Fastronix 3/8" Stud Terminal Covers Red and Black

These work really well for covering the terminal and associated hardware. They are pretty stiff, which is both good and bad. Being stiff makes it hard to maneuver it around the stud and get the hardware on, but once you have that done it is good that it's stiff so it doesn't get damaged. It is really good quality and I haven't have any issues with them getting brittle from temperature swings either. I live in an area that gets really cold in the winter and really hot in the summer, so these see -20F in winter and up to ~140F in the engine bay during summer.

Good quality rubber and nice tight fit over 2/0 cable and M8 battery terminals.

THESE BOOTS FIT 2/0 CABLE. High quality terminal boots, minus one star for no sizing info in the description, they were far too large for the 2 gauge cable I needed them for.

I am glad that I purchased the 3/8" version to ensure it would fit over my 2/0 AWG cables, if not it would have probably been too snug to maneuver over the crimp connection and heat shrink. I used these on several 2/0 AWG cables some with 5/16" ends and a couple with 3/8" ends. For connections directly to the battery terminal it provides nearly complete coverage, for many of my other locations it can only cover a portion (as expected). The product was flexible enough to maneuver as needed with some patients and force required to get it back over the end of the heat shrink when moving into the final position. The my initial perception of the product is better than expected and I appreciate the added protection against shorts that it provides even in the less than ideal locations.

Used with matching feed through bulkhead studs. Nice finished look and provides necessary insulation. Over priced for what it is, but do it cheap or do it right are never on the same page.

They are expensive, but they are what you need if you are looking for full coverage. I utilized these on a top mount 80ah battery which is out in the open to ensure there wouldn't be any shorts. The rubber is very loose so you can manipulate it very well.

These fitted nicely over some through bulkhead studs. The delivery was a bit tardy but that is probably to be expected given they had to come from the States and it is a busy time of year.
