Cane Minder-New-Improved-The best most useful and versatile cane holder accessory. Stop your cane from falling to the floor!

I'm only a part-time cane user and haven't had a chance to try it outside the house yet, so this is just a preliminary review.I use a palm-grip cane that didn't come with a strap, so I needed something that would help when I need both hands. I also needed a better way to store my cane at home. I wasn't impressed with reviews of straps that would go around the cane shaft, and mostly wished for something that would let me prop the cane on a shelf or wall without it falling over. That's when I found the Cane Minder, and it seemed like exactly what I needed.It comes on a card, affixed with sticky stuff - I recommend removing that right away since I was impatient and now have the gunk on my cane (it will come off with goo-gone). I have hand issues and needed my partner to help me attach the Cane Minder to my cane. I did skip trying to heat it with warm water first. Once the tail was in to the first of the teeth, it was easy enough to adjust.It works just like it should to balance my cane on a ledge or shelf. It also works against walls. It's easy to adjust the height as needed. I love that a hole is included so it can also hang on a hook. The material is flexible but tough - it seems like it won't stretch out or crack over time. It grips well to the slick cane surface & doesn't slide unless I move it on purpose.I'd recommend this to other cane users as my experience so far has been great! I'll try to update once I've taken it for a spin away from home.

This is a great addition to a cane and really makes my life easier. One thing that really helps is when you use the cane minder, hang it somewhere that the tip of the cane can rest on something. Letting the cane swing in mid air does not work well

cane minder was a great idea. It worked perfectly and still does. The problem is it is flimsy and after a month or so it startsto fall apart. It needs to be made stronger. If you don't mind replacing it every so often it is a good product..........

The rubber wrap-around holder will not stay tight and comes loose a few minutes after adjusting the tightness. I guess there should be 2 notched edges, bottom and top instead of just the bottom.

Seller was fantastic. He sent me their new and improved model and it works like a charm.

I have a custom made cane and this fit it well. My cane has not fallen since I got it. It works so well and I'm happy I found it.

Mom loves it! So much nicer than others on the market. Stays in place like it should.

When I first installed the cane holder, I thought what a smart idea. Unfortunately the execution is flawed. The product will not retain its wrapped shape. It's material memory causes the strap to release and overcome the tooth & slot friction. Gradually the strap seeks to straighten and slide down the cane. I do not recommend this product although the concept is very good. The maker should not give up, but they did bring the product to market before it was ready.

I just received my cane minder. I was tired having my cane constantly falling while I was paying for something or stopped to hold up an item that I might buy (activities that require two hand). I was told about this and it does work well. It does require you place it carefully against something solid so that the two arms of the attachment hold it there. There is nothing else to do except making sure that the arms are touching and then it will stay. When following the instructions to install it make sure that you rock the piece with the hole in it rather than trying to pull it straight through. It just makes it easier to attach it to your cane. It will stay wherever you place it on the upper part of the cane. Makes life easier.

This product is the best cane holder i have found in several years. I've been using it for 2 months and only once or twice as it gotten loose. I wasn't strong enough to tie it around the cane and had to use the help of a friend who was pulling on each extremity with pliers to tighten it. I would have given it 5 starts if I had been able to install it alone. Once installed it won't let you down. They said it can be easily removed to use on another cane but I prefer ordering another one for all my canes. Less trouble.

Works better than setting the cane down everywhere. Still have the odd tip from someone bumping into it but the product itself works great.

A must for anyone who uses a cane. So much so that really every cane should have be built with one.

A bit pricy but I Love IT! My cane used to fall or dropped and made everyone jumped in the room, but not any more!! Highly recommend it as it will fit all canes and now I can “park” it anywhere!
