Gits Veg Biryani Ready to Eat, Pure Veg, Microwaveable, 265g

This is made from long grain basmati rice with curry and masala layer. It contains potato pieces like in Bengali style biryani. It is mildly spiced and not as hot as Hyderabadi biryani. It has a perfect taste somewhat like tahari of Central UP.

It is just an okay product. Portion little enough for one. Taste 3/5*

Quality is so so darn bad! I would rather plain rice with salt than this!

We actually liked this “Veg Biriyani” taste thought its not actually Biriyani taste (Add Salt and Pepper to taste). In fact, this is our favourite of all the GITS ready to eats. But we aren’t fans of the quantity provided for the price charged. I am giving 5 stars instead of 4 because the other reviews are a little too critical of the taste in my opinion and I want this product to continue to exist instead of being withdrawn due to poor ratings, though a lowering of price or doubling of quantity will be appreciated.

If you are dying of hunger and there is nothing else to eat then this will save your life. Or else it is better to stay away from this. Taste is not at all good. I found it extremely difficult to get it down my throat. Not worth the money at all.

Well packed. For extreme conditions like traveling or late night snack/emergency food packet it is good product. Preparation style is different.Quality of rice is good. Veggies were little, little more expected.Quantity is little less in one package. Overall good for 1 person/packet.

Prefer this to the Ashoka equivilant , as it's not so 'oily'
