Since 1999, the UCI has set restrictions on how far forward the saddle nose could sit on racers' saddles. The end result of this has been a generation of triathletes and time trialists perched on the narrow tip of a traditional saddle to get the most out of a flat time trial. Such a position is fast but not overly healthy for those tender nether areas. ISM solves that issue with the ISM Attack Saddle and its signature stocky-nosed, split fork design. This saddle may look weird, but it's highly functional in a time trial position. The blunted nose and cutout split gives a much better platform than traditional pointy-nosed saddles when you're on the rivet and eeking out power.
