Lyra Graphite Crayon Stick Holder

Amazing

This does not fit the standard hex crayons used by every carpenter I know.

Works excellently with graphite crayon; metal holders encircled by metal ring fitted apparently far extended along side the graphite crayon into the interior of the plastic holder / controlled by a wide plastic button on the end allowing crating to be extended. Enjoying it! Works with fabercastell graphite crayon as well as Lyra aqaurelle /water color graphite crayons. One water color crayon fit right in one was tight it was the 9 softness when crayon paper removed fit was excellent; an obvious with a water color crayon in the holder: remove the paper initially or else you’ll be tearing little bits off again and again in order to use it!

I don't recommend at all. Tried to put the graphite into this holder and it was too snug, trying to take the graphite out the thing fell apart. And for what I paid for this the value is garbage. I'm now just going to go into an art supply store and hand them the graphite and tell him I need the holders for it. Maybe I'll find something that actually fits properly. I'm so upset that the professor actually recommended this brand. I'm so pissed I just threw it away.

got some 5.6mm graphite pencil a good while back from a craft store. But they didn't come with any kind of covering so my hands and paper would get really ditry. Got this to hold the graphite and it works great! :D Shipped and got to me sooner then the date was estimated.

I've seen reviews stating that these do not fit the Lyra graphite crayons. They do, it's a tight fit, but you have to remove the paper wrapper from the crayon. If not, you'll never get the crayon into the holder. That being said, I wish these were a centimeter longer to better fit the full length of the crayon.

I like the holder. It kept my hands clean. I tried to change it out for another stick but it was stuck. Pressing the button to extend it out is a hard push and it hurt my wrist and thumb. I had to use another stick to hold it because I didn't want it to snap my thumb. Then, I couldn't pull out the stick. I literally dug into it with my nails. I ended up having to bend the extenders and pull really hard. I got it to keep graphite off my hands and to ease uncomfortable grips. This did the opposite. While the stick was in it, it worked fine. Just needs to be easier to use. Especially without the fear that it would snatch my fingers or give me a cut.

Purtroppo il sistema funziona sul contrasto tra la molla ed il cappuccio finale che non è ben fissato al corpo del portamine, pertanto si è aperto in due nel momento in cui il cappuccio si è sfilato dal corpo centrale, senza alcuna possibilità di sistemarlo. Infatti il cappuccio non è avvitato ma solo fissato ad incastro, pertanto il cappuccio in plastica si è fessurato (è fissato a pressione) e si è staccato per la spinta della molla e non c'è modo di recuperarne la funzionalità...

Dieser Stick-Holder ist im Wald bei unseren Forstarbeiten echt praktisch zum Anzeichnen und Markieren. Wirklich handlich und robust und schützt die eingesetzte Markierfarbe gut in der Tasche, wenn man's gerade mal nicht gebraucht. - empfehlenswert!

Macht genau was er soll: Wachskreide halten.
