How well do these hold up in warmer climates?

Mine has held up just fine and I live in Nebraska, we see over 100 degrees during the summer and below 0 degrees in the winter. This product has done great!

Does it bring the case to attach to mount?

This is just a mount. The case isn't included.

the slide on tray that your access port goes in should have came with access port. because it comes with mount that hooks to your vents in your car. use that same trey on the new mount

Will this mount to my v2?

I don't believe so as the V3 comes packaged with a 2 prong case that mounts direct to this product. Unless the V2 has a back case with the 2 prong holder, this will not work.
